After some time, when the blood circulation in her legs worked perfectly, when Avery could feel her legs again, and she got up from the ground and left the garden and went towards in the direction of her bed room.
Once she reached the living chambers of her quarters, she saw the person, she least expected and never wanted to see though.
There in the living room of Avery’s quarters, stood the second Miss of the Hastings household Mansion, Miss Cassy Hastings.
The so called beloved younger…..Oops sorry… younger step sister of Avery.
Seeing her sitting in her living room, all the little amount of good mood Avery managed to seek got disturbed and Avery thought that all her efforts to gain courage and strength to pass that day had vanished into thin air once she saw her younger sister, second Miss of the family, Miss Cassy.
“Looks like this day was going to be the worst day. She had to take her disgusting face and come here to spoil my day….argh….. Goodness gracious…. Give strength to me”, Avery thought and rolled her eyes secretly in annoyance.
Sighing heavily, Avery went inside to greet Cassy. Avery casted her real thoughts and feelings and put on a fake smile to welcomed Cassy.
“Hello, second younger sister. What a surprise that you came to visit me, early in the morning?. What do you want from me?”, Avery asked sacrastically but she asked so naturally with a smile and calm expression on her face that no one could catch on to the fact that she was mocking the other party, face to face, but the other side was too dumb of a person to understand the real meaning behind it. And Cassy was no different from others in that aspect and really saw only above the surface.
Cassy thought that Avery was being her nice self like her usual self, even in the early morning hours and smiled brightly.
