First Time
I first saw him at Natalie Jackson's summer party. I've never seen him around before, but he was gorgeous. One of the most gorgeous guys I've ever seen. Was he new? Was he a friend of a friend? Where did this guy come from....
"Just go say something to him Morgan!" My bestfriend, Asia, said. She must've seen me staring at him. I mean he was perfect, who wouldn't stare at that?
"I'm okay." I said shifting my way towards her. "He's just hot that's all." I laughed. I grabbed a drink from a nearby table and took a little sip, still staring. Admiring his perfect muscles.
My cousin Alexis pushed me slightly. "Ain't nothing wrong with shooting your shot! People do it all the time."
"Guys." I corrected her. "Guys do it all the time, what girl you know shot her shot and scored?" I asked.
She groaned loudly. "You're so lame! Come on! He's cute, and look on the bright side if you miss your shot at least you'll never see him again."
I thought for a moment, he was chilling by himself leaning against the wall with a cup in his hand. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, I hesitated then finally walked towards him. "Hi." I said nervously. Hi? Really Morgan? All you could say was hi?
He looked up at me and flashed a bright smile, then nodded. "Wassup."
I blushed lightly then thought of something else to say. "I'm Morgan." I said quickly. "You are?"
"Dave." He chuckled and licked his lips."Who you with tonight Morgan?"
I pointed over to Asia and Alexis. "My bestfriend and cousin. You?" He pointed to himself. I laughed lightly. "By yourself? Why?"
He shrugged. "I'm always by myself, I don't f**k with many people." That kind of made me scared to say anything else, but before I could he spoke again. "Actually I was just leaving." He sat up from the wall he was slouching on and threw his cup away in a nearby trash.
I quickly thought of something else to say. "Why? The party isn't over." I smiled. "It's still early, have fun." I know you could tell that I was super nervous, my palms were sweaty and so were my feet- I could feel it through my high heels.
"I have a studio session." He said fixing the chains around his neck. "Can't be late." He turned and walked away, walking right out the door.
I was kind of embarrassed, did he really just do that? I didn't even get a number or a i********: account....nothing! I sighed and rolled my eyes walking towards the girls. "I knew it was a bad idea." I said.
Asia laughed, "It's okay. There's plenty of fish in the sea."
