Xavier's POV I looked around the parking lot. The scent of blood grew in the air as the rain and wind picked up, whisking it around and away at the same time. Esme moved around me, not heeding my warning not to move. But when I saw nothing happen, I relaxed some. I knew this place was close to the Vampire Kingdom's territory, so that may explain the blood that I smelt. "There isn't an us, Mr Russo!"
