Molly It had been a hard few weeks since Jaden’s rejection and I had thrown myself into my work. I took on more and more projects all because it was a way to drown out the pain and hurt. I hadn’t attended any of the traditional Sunday BBQs or any other social gatherings. I had avoided Jaden as best as I could because it hurt too much. The truth was, I needed time to heal. It had been a rude awakening despite how wonderful that time had been. The one good thing that had come out of it, was that Jaden didn’t mind if I picked up the kids after school a few days a week.
