*This is the first book in The Two mates of Destiny, series. Some scene's will refer to my book The Dragon's Ready Mate Family, but it's not a requirement to read it before this book*

Crystal is the Alpha-Luna of her pack after her father left without a word of goodbye 10 years ago. Ruling her pack is her life and Crystal never wanted for a mate. When a lone rogue Alpha Brad and a human fire-fighter Tertius both with their own histories history suddenly appear, in her life, Crystal is caught off guard. Life just loves to throw her curve balls when she realizes she's mated to them both!

Who will Crystal choose?

Will her pack support her in her choice?

And what happens when Brad is accused of murder?

****************

“Princess?” Brad’s voice held a question and even Tertius stilled, feeling the dominating power of it. They needed to know if they could go on. Tonight is for her, and if she were uncomfortable, they could wait.

“I... I want more. Please.” Crystal almost choked on the words. She wasn’t used to pleading, only at being obeyed, but tonight she would plead for their touches even if it went against her nature.

“And we are your willing servants tonight. We will obey.”

More than just a steamy love story (although there is definitely quite a few steamy s****l encounters) I hope that you will enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoy to write it! Please remember to comment and share your thoughts on where the book should be going

Chapter 1
Crystal’s wolf was almost purring inside of her. Their brisk run through the chill morning air had them feeling invigorating. The turning of the seasons from autumn to winter was much more suitable for a wolf than the summer heat. Entering through the kitchen door, her eyes immediately soften as they landed on the girl in the wheelchair. “Morning Cuz!” “Hi Pretty lady! Did you have a nice morning run?” “Sure did! So what’s for breakfast?” “Our ever-hungry Alpha, whatever you can lay your hands on to make you can eat.” The brown eyes of the girl were laughing with suppressed mirth. “Hey! That’s not nice to say to your cousin!” Jumping up slightly, Crystal sat down on one of the kitchen tables. “Well my wonderful cousin, like I said, if you can put your hands on anything edible in this place, you can have it.” “So your saying there’s no food?” “Nope.”  “Damn, so we going to have to go to the pack house for food. Well, in that case, let me go take a shower before I take us.” Crystal had just hopped down again when a voice resounded in her mind link. “Alpha-Luna, we need you at the Northern border. We have rogues incoming.” “Aiden, secure the perimeters, I’ll be there in a moment.” Turning to her cousin in front of her, at the same moment that another male figure appeared in the kitchen doorway leading to the rest of the house. “Vanes get yourself to the safe room, NOW. Jasz, you stay here and protect her.” Crystal turned to the male, who looked so similar to the girl she had addressed as Vanes, that he couldn’t be anyone other than her brother. It was plain from his appearance that the mind link had been an open one and that most probably everyone in the pack had heard the connection. “I’m NOT staying anywhere but at your side Crys! And don’t take that look with me, you know your Alpha-s**t doesn’t work on me. Now let’s go before that moron gets us all killed!” “I’ll be fine, I promise Crystal, just go. I’m heading to the safe room now.” “I hate leaving you here alone Vanessa, you know that!” “She’s good in the safe room, no one will reach her there. Let’s GO!” Crystal waited for a last nod from her cousin before taking off at a dead run out the door. “Keep up if you can, slow poke!” Jasz’s laughter sounded up behind her, closer than she had expected and Crystal put in a bit more speed. Reveling in the fast movement of her muscles pumping up and down, senses extended to the front, searching for any strangers that might have slipped by her sparsely populated (although well trained) guards. Only when she smelled the well-known smell of her forces mixed with that of strangers, did she slow down. “Damn Woman, you’re going to kill me one of these days!” “Maybe a little more practice?” Laughing she turned to a very serious face of her best friend, Beta and cousin when his hand landed on her shoulder. His hair was an almost golden blond color and his eyes the exact same green as hers, a color they got from their mothers. At the moment they were extremely serious while looking at her. She might be the elder by a few days, but he tends to act like it more often. “Damnit Crys! You’re not taking this serious enough! What if one of them slipped past Aiden and the crew? We don’t know how many there are out there! You might be faster than any of us, but you’re still not able to fight off a s**t load alone! There’s a REASON I came with you!” For a moment, her Alpha-wolf wanted to take offense, but the sound of a growl coming from almost right behind her had her spinning around to face the darkest, chocolate brown eyes that she had ever seen. “Take. Your. Hands. Off. Her. NOW!” It took only the growl and sound of his voice for Crystal’s guards to react. She was surrounded in a second by 6 bodies, Jasz’s body right in front, crouched in his fighting stanch. But as quickly as her eyes had took in her guards, her other senses zeroed in on the male that had somehow gotten lose from them. Everything screamed at her as she took him in. Well build, tall, but a little on the lean side, telling of his rogue state was the fact that his clothes was torn and dirty, his dark brown hair was shoulder length and matted, but his eyes! It was eyes she could lose herself in. They were gorgeous! Her wolf was clawing to come to the front, screaming inside her mind, but when their eyes met, suddenly the she-wolf turned into a mewling mess instead and suddenly Crystal had to struggle to keep her footing. “s**t!” Her voice was barely above a whisper but the motion of Jasz’s head told her he had heard. It was however in that same moment that she saw the rogue’s body moving at an unprecedented speed towards them. Knocking Jasz out of the way she took the hit from the rogue full on. His momentum carrying them a few feet back before she landed on her back, knocking her breath out. “Well, hello Mate!” The gasp surrounding them informed Crystal that all her men had heard his words. f**k, this could NOT be happening! She doesn’t want or NEED a damn mate! And a damn f*****g Rogue Alpha to boot! With a growl of fury, Crystal shoved him off of her before agilely jumping into a half crouch and starting to circle the man in front of her. “I am NOT your mate!” “Well in that case, MATE, I guess you won’t care if I ask your Alpha there if I can take you?!” The male’s eyes never left her while nodding towards Jasz. “He’s not the damn Alpha, I am!” “A female can’t BE an Alpha!” “I guess you can’t always be right, now can you Mister Rogue!” Sensing her rising fury and knowing her temper, Jasz stepped between the two circling bodies. “Crystal...” “f**k of Jasz!” “Well then Miss I-am-the-Alpha, in that case you won’t mind if I take away your pack now do you?” Another soft gasp from the surrounding guards, before they started forming a circle around the figures in the middle. “Crystal!” “I said, f**k OFF JASZ! Mr. Rogue, I guess in that case I will just hand you your ass! Challenge accepted!” With the last word, her movement became a blur as she  attacked, and a few rapid punches being landed could be heard before withdrawing. “Why does her temper always get the better of her?” Jasz sighed while standing next to another guard. “Well, none of us wants your position now do we Beta?” The guard’s face was covered in a smile as they both watched the moving figures. “What you want to bet she’s going to get her ass handed to her by that man?” “Urgh! f**k off Aiden! She’s our damn Alpha!” “O no, I wasn’t meaning it in that way, more like, in bed.” Jasz couldn’t bite back the bark of a laugh while watching his cousin. He had to give it to her, she was good, and fast. In normal conditions the Alpha would have given her a run for her money, but it was plain for all to see that he wasn’t in shape and Jasz couldn’t help but admire his cousin’s fast, sure foot work, while also being extra glad that he wasn’t on the receiving end of her fury today. At least she would be more exhausted when going into the practice ring later. It took her less than 5 minutes to subdue the Alpha. When he was finally down, Jasz barked the orders and the men moved in to handcuff the prisoner. Being closes to her, he was the only one to hear when she muttered into the barely conscious man’s ear. “I f*****g told you, you’re not my mate! And when this is all and done, I’m rejecting this bond!”
