Fiona - POV As I tried to leave, Jasper grabbed my hand, his grip firm enough to halt me in my tracks. Before I could react, he pushed me gently but assertively back against the wall, pinning me in place. His intense gaze locked onto mine, his jaw clenched as though he was holding back more than he was willing to say. “I didn’t mean you were weak,” he said, his voice low and calm, but with an edge of frustration. “But you need to stop trying to handle everything on your own and at least try to trust us.
