The next morning, I woke up filled with a sense of dread. I hated the thought of my mate leaving the safety of the Silver Moon Pack to spend time with her other mate. I wanted to keep her with me all the time, but I couldn't, and that was seriously messing with my emotions.
I tried to brush off my feelings of frustration and dread, so I could enjoy the little time I had left with Alexandria before Liam showed up. She was still sleeping peacefully, but I knew she wanted to wake up early, so I started gently trailing my fingertips over her pronounced collarbone, and within a minute or two, her heartrate sped up a little, then her eyelids slowly fluttered open to reveal her beautiful brown eyes.
As soon as our eyes locked, both of our lips curved up to form wide smile
