The plane's wheels screeched against the tarmac, jolting Kyle and Nikita from their comfortable silence. They had flown straight, using Kyle’s private jet, stopping only to refuel. Kyle had gotten out and walked along the tarmac briefly before getting back into the airplane. Nikita had slept most of the time or gone over the formulas she’d need to know for their meeting with the chemist. It had been a long ride and Nikita was exhausted but she knew that they had an important meeting in a few hours.
