Lily came into my office without knocking and flopped down on the armchair across from my desk. She was so slouched in the chair that it could have eaten her alive. she closed her eyes and let out a huge sigh. "Well, hello to you too."
She opened her eyes slightly to glare at me. "Please don't be a smart ass right now. I need normal quiet Landyn."
"I take it things didn't go well with Ella? Where is she? I thought you were going to let me know when she got a little more comfortable so I could come down."

"Things just got out of hand. I wasn't even thinking. I'm still trying to process everything."
