Landyns POV
I was kind of shocked that Maureen asked to go on a run with me. It's not like she's a wolf. She would have to ride on my back, and we haven't been that close since we were back at her coven.
I will say I feel like things are getting better towards us. She doesn't completely avoid being around me. It still doesn't shake this awkward tension that's between us. I can tell she's ignoring whatever is causing it for the sake of our friendship, and maybe it will be just easier if I do the same.
I realized i was doing the awkward silence thing that Amber claims i do when im uncomfortable. "Sure, if you want to."
She walked towards me. "I do."
