"We will go to the club tonight, understood?" Arci explained and I nod
"I understand" I replied and Arci opened the coffin, her bed. She slides into it and closed the coffin. Whenever it's morning, vampires sleep in their coffins, but when it's night they are always active since there is no sun burning their skin at that specific time. Lucky Arci, I wish I have vampire features so that I could do cool kinds of stuff like break the wall with the ability of limitless strength, run very fast within seconds, climb walls, camouflage, and many more. I am just a helpless daughter of a sorceress, I am as weak as the humans.
I went to the bathroom, had my bath, change my clothes, and did my morning routine. I saw a gift box on my bed. I took it and unwrapped it, eager to see what was in it. I sighted a book. The book was not wide or long, it was rather short, thin, and very heavy. I flipped the pages of the books and coughed at the scent of dust. I dropped the book on the table and noticed the blue beautiful colors in it.
I sat on a chair and continued to flip through the pages. The pages were empty, there was nothing written on it.
I threw the book on the floor angrily and walked toward my bed. Suddenly, I felt the ground shaking like an earthquake was about to occur. I held onto the chair tightly as the wind blew faster, everything in the room was now in the air.
"Arci!" I yelled but Arci did not reply. Everything was going in circles like a tornado. I closed my eyes in fear and suddenly feel vacuumed in the tornado circle. I opened my eyes and the tornado died down.
Suddenly, I felt vacuumed into the ground. I fell inside a dark place and yet, no part of my body felt injured, I felt alright. Does this mean I have healing ability as a vampire? Are my vampire traits now visible? I became happy at the thought of me having vampire traits.
"Hello" I called out and stood up. No one replied and I decided to walk further, maybe I would find a way out.
"Hello" I called out again and my voice echoes.
"Where am I?" I muttered and a bright light shone on my face. I covered my eyes with my hand to prevent the bright light from shining on my face. A few minutes later, the bright light turned off and everywhere became bright. I was now back in my room and everywhere was normal. I sighed in relief and noticed that the book I threw on the floor is on the table. Was the tornado stuff a dream? I shook what happened earlier away and thought of it as a dream.
I sat on the chair and glanced at the strange book. The pages flipped open as the breeze of dust swept my face. The book stopped flipping pages and finally opened to an empty page. Suddenly, a pencil appeared on it as I fumed in anger. So the book was a magic drawing book the whole time!! I slammed the book on the floor and made my way to the kitchen to have breakfast. I made pancakes and fried eggs to eat. After having lunch, I went back to the room to check on Arci. To my amazement, Arci had closed all the curtains to prevent the bright lights from penetrating inside. Arci was staring at her reflection in the mirror as she pulled a gown close to her body like she was checking how the gown would look on her if she had worn it.
"What are you doing?" I asked and sat on the bed
"Changing my clothes," Arci replied. She pushed the gown away and took another gown
"Why? Are you going somewhere?"
"Must I go somewhere before changing my clothes?"
"No, but still are you going somewhere," I asked and Arci dropped the gown on the bed.
"No, I'm preparing for the club we are going to tonight. Don't you remember?"
"Oh"
"Hmm, you should also change your clothes. You look shabby"
"I don't" I replied and stood up to check my reflection in the mirror. I realized that the clothes I was wearing looked a little shabby
"Let me see what I can get you," Arci said and she brought a dress from her closet. The dress looked thin that only a fat stick can stay in it
"Don't you think it is a little too thin for me?"
"Not at all. It is very stretchy. So go and wear it." She replied and handed the gown to me. I walked into the dressing room and changed into the gown. It was good on my body but when I checked the mirror, I didn't like the way I look
"I don't like this dress"
"What is wrong with it? It fits your body perfectly" Arci grinned
"I know it does, but it is very short" I replied as I looked at my reflection in the mirror and scowled at my exposed thighs.
"So how do you expect it to be?"
"I want it longer than this"
"Well, it won't be because I am going to force you to wear this to the club"
"Then I am no longer interested in going to the club" I frowned
"Alright, wear whatever you want. It's none of my business" Arci replied and I went back to the dressing room to search for long dresses
When I finally found it, I became happy. I came out of the dressing room and faced Arci
"What do you think of this dress?" I said boastfully and she laughed
"Sorry to say this, but you look like someone who has been thrown into a sack"
"Well, I don't care" I replied and Arci glanced at her wristwatch.
"It's time to party!!" She yelled and I covered her mouth to remind her that my father was still at home.
