Chapter 5 John arrived at work early Monday morning to find a message on his desk from Mayor Dunn, asking him to stop into his office at his convenience. After taking care of a few pressing issues, including an irate phone call from a parent who didn’t appreciate that his son had gotten a speeding ticket, John headed upstairs.
