I woke up in the early afternoon, having slept deeper and better than I had in a long time. No nightmares, and even though I woke up still not in my own body, I felt really good, actually. I felt rested. My body did ache though, from what I had been through, but when I sat up and stretched my arms, it was a calm and seated smile that was on my lips. I threw the blanket away and grabbed the dirty dress and put it on before combing my hair with my fingers. It was strange not just having everything I needed in order to get ready, but I had to adjust for now, until I found a way to get back.
