The princess sat in front of me, a fire burning between us. She was eating a little of the rabbit I had shot earlier with my bow and arrows and had roasted it. I wasn’t that great with a bow, but I had the skills to kill a rabbit. We had ridden the entire day, and we were both hungry and tired when we finally made camp in the forest. It was best to stay away from the road when we got some sleep. Actually, it would be best to stay away from it completely, but it was also the quickest route. We would just have to keep our eyes and ears open.
“Do you think I could perform some magic in this body?” she suddenly asked me.
