Madeleine laid on the couch in his room with a blanket over her. She woke up to whining and the sounds of shivering. Madeleine looked over towards Christian's bed and saw him clutching the blankets to his chin. She stood up and took his hand, while she placed the back of her other hand on his forehead. He didn't feel feverish, so it confused her.
She gently ran her fingers through his soft hair, and he shivered again before he stilled. He slowly opened his eyes and she instantly understood by his relieved expression. She rubbed the back of his hand and smiled at him. "Vivid dream?"
