He slammed his fist into the desk with a loud bang. “I am surrounded by idiots!” he looked around the room as he spoke, “how hard can it be to track down two people? An accountant and a secretary for heaven’s sake!” His voice was getting louder with each word.
The three men in the room remained silent and avoided eye contact with him. He shook his head in agitated frustration. “We are not talking about people with special training here, these are ordinary people. Broke ordinary people for that matter. They do not have resources like we do so how can it be that difficult to locate them?”
One of the men dared to speak up, “Sir, it’s not that easy, after the station they just vanished. We can’t locate their car or any electronic activity.”
