*Brielle's POV* The rest of breakfast is, in a word, tense. We do not discuss business, Jonathan's actions, or anything pertaining the attack from last night. The only conversation that starts up is when my mother decides to talk to my uncle about birthday gifts and party favors she should bring for the younger, teenage cousins. Sadly, this conversation does not last for more than twenty minutes. My uncle is not known as the kind of guy to really get into gift giving or being in tune with what the younger teens want as gifts. After breakfast, my father walks my uncle out and says his goodbyes as my mother goes upstairs to grab her bag.
