*Brielle's POV* My eyes are unbelievably blurry when I finally open them. What time is it? Did I even want to know? I know what time I practically passed out last night, which was around four in the morning if I wasn't mistaken. I roll over under the covers, choosing to ignore my initial reaction to check the time and sink further into the comforter wrapped around me. The warmth is unbearably comfortable and staying in bed will help me completely ignore everything that happened yesterday. It was still hard for me to believe that I made a deal yesterday with Jonathan Taggart, who is an undercover cop. I nuzzle into my pillow and imagine what my father, cousins, uncles, and practically every member of the family will do if and when they find out about his quote unquote secret identity.
