GARETT’S POV. The drive back home was unusually quiet, unlike before. I wasn't willing to make any attempt to make things different. I still couldn't shake off Granny’s disapproval from my mind. Never did I think that I would react that way. I thought she would be so happy to hear the news, just like we were. She would be so happy to know her boys were no longer alone. Did it matter? Did it change anything if she belonged to one or both of us? Did it? I thought and tilted my head sideways to take a look at Venus. I was curious to know how she was handling all these.
