Allegra's POV
My life has always been a mess, an emotional roller coaster, but right now, it feels like this roller coaster just doesn't stop. This ride continues and there is no way that I can stop it. I feel my inner turmoil, my gut twisting in knots, trying to figure out a solution to all that is happening.
"Hey babe. I got take out", Tanya's voice rings from outside my door and I open it with a fake smile that makes my cheeks hurt.
"Hey, Tanya. Thanks for the food. I was starving anyway. Come on in", I let her in and closed the door behind me, trying my best to keep my confusion at bay. I do not wish to alarm her because, if she gets to know something is going on with me, she will nag and make me say it.
"How are you feeling now?"
