"So, are you ready for today's date?", Tanya asks me as I stop by the reception to talk to her quickly. I still got twenty minutes left anyway.
"What if I say no?", she chuckles at my response.
"You are still going. Keith is a good guy and I am sure you will like him. He is easy going as well", she continues to sing his praises before I put a stop to her babbling.
"I get it, Tanya. I have to ask Mr. Anderson if he can let me go early though. He knows about the date anyway".
"How?", she asks with furrowed eyebrows.
"I have no idea. He wasn't even there when we were talking".
