"Ava, I came to the pack house to spend time with you. I'm waiting in the common room. Can we go into lockdown together?" Gloria asked through the mind link.
I wanted to see Gloria and know she was safe. And we needed girl time.
"Yes, meet me in Alpha Ace’s chambers upstairs. We can go in there together," I responded through the link to Gloria.
I felt relief knowing Gloria would be safe with me.
"Gloria is here, and she's going to stay with me in your chambers. Please stay safe," I said, looking into Ace's eyes as he got up from his chair and gently placed me on my feet.
