Kim Jin Seok’s point of view
I folded my arms around my chest, closing my eyes as Lisa drives us to Gangnam Police station where our other Delta Park Shin Hye works as my mind drifts to the last three months
I decided to go further my studies in Russia with a six month program in advanced Law and left Seoul three months ago or so I thought.
I don’t know if I ever left Seoul
I can’t remember anything. No matter how hard I try to remember the past three months my memory comes out blank. The last thing I remember was saying my goodbyes to Yoon Tae Oh, Lisa and my family and walking into the airport and that was it, till this morning when an Alarm went off that somehow brought me out of a trance. I thought I was late for my flight and asked the Attendant but she said the flight was three months ago.
I didn’t believe her I thought it was some sort of hoax, I am still wearing the same clothes, my hair styled the same way and my box still in my hand and she said that my flight was three months ago? I checked my phone and saw the date, I checked the newspapers that was sold in the airport, checked the Television, the internet the news, everything and it was still the same.
“Why didn’t you call before coming?” Lisa ask taking me out of my thoughts“ I could have come pick you up” she adds
“I wanted it to be a surprise” I lied
I don’t know what is going on or how I lost so much time, what is even strange about this is that when I checked my phone I saw numerous texts that I had supposedly sent out to people over the course of three months but I don’t remember doing it
I don’t remember sending them this text at all
“Well it work” Lisa smiled “I’m glad you’re back safely. When are you going back to Russia?”
“Why?”
“Nothing I just thought it was a six months program”
“Oh yeah, I came to do something back in Seoul I should go back when I’m done” I lied again “What’s up? What’s been going on in the city?” I changed the topic “You and Yoon Tae oh were talking about murder cases?”
“Yeah” she sighs “Some sick bastard has been killing werewolves”
“What?” I finally open my eyes and turn my attention to her “90%of the citizen in Seoul are werewolves what do you mean?”
“It started three full moons ago a week after you left, the police found a Male Wolf hanged in Itaewon but the strange thing is that he was killed during transition back to human form after the full moon, two bodies after him later and we still have not been able to catch the killer” she explained
“What? Is there any clue as to who and why?”
“The she wolf who died today got us a clue apparently she was killed and her displayed in two different places. The place she was killed being at Bukhan Mountain, if not for the bloody rain that washed away all the clues we could have gotten at least a foot print”
I swallowed hard. A killer just happened to start killing werewolves the week after I was supposed to study in Russia and conveniently enough I don’t remember s**t from the past three months, I don’t have an alibi, I didn’t even trust myself enough not to suspect myself but I don’t say a thing
I don’t have a motive
Why the f**k will I go around killing?

“But I can say we at least found the most unexpected” she turns to “A human” she snickers “Today has been the roughest and unexplainable day of my life”
I don’t reply her but instead go through my phone. I have tons of messages but not one single call came through in three months. Strange

“Lisa”
“Um”
“Why didn’t you call me when I was in Russia?” I asked
“Why didn’t I call?” she snickers “You literally told everyone not to”
“What?” I questioned
“You asked no one to call you that your speaker phone is bad or some s**t and asked us only to text you, despite Tae Oh telling you to buy a new phone. Why are you asking this strange question? You of all people should know”
I laughed nervously “You’re right my speaker phone is bad”
Fuck!
“You really have to get a new phone” she said and parked the car in front of the police station
I opened the door and walked out, cracking my knuckles before proceeding to walk into the station with Lisa. The police officers bows at us as we walked in and without even asking any question they told us where to find the chief of Police Park Shin Hye who is also a Delta and one of the right hand man of Tae Oh.
“Jin Seok ah” Shin Hye’s has a really thick accent that knocks me off every single time we meet “When did you come back from Russia?” she said standing up from her seat. Park Shin Hye just like her other family is in charge of the Policing in Seoul. The Park Family works for the Alpha first and then for the citizen keeping them safe and helping the less fortunate now especially when the gates has been opened to other creatures, crime rate has increased by 5% but who is counting
“I just got back” I smiled at the twenty eight year old pregnant Delta “I see your husband has scored another goal” I referred to her being pregnant for the fourth time and she smiled
“He is good player what can I say” she laughs rubbing her belly “Hello Lisa”
Lisa smiles at her but I can still feel the tension between them, they never really liked each other even when we all trained together and I never got to find out the reason. Shin Hye gesture us a seat before pouring us two cups of coffee
“Thank you” I whispered before taking a sip out of the instant coffee
“Now” she placed her hand on the table “Why did the Alpha send you here?” she asked
“First to check up on how the investigation is going” Lisa spoke
“Just like the two other bodies we have not been able to find anything to pinpoint a suspect, we are also waiting for the NFS to finish with their autopsy result as Lord Min just gave consents” Shin Hye explained “And the second reason?”
I took out my phone and slide to the picture of the human Tae Oh had sent. “Yoon Tae Oh wants you to run this face in the system to see what you can find” I said passing her the phone
She took it, looked at it “Who is this?”
“If we knew we would ask you to run it in the system now would we?” Lisa asked
“Always so smart aren’t you?” Shin Hye smirked “Anyways send me the picture Jin Seok I’ll send it out to immigrations and security, how soon does the Alpha need it?” she asked as she passes my phone to me. I took it back scrolled to my contact, apparently I had also sent her a message during the months I was blank, I shook my head and just sent her the picture
“As soon as possible” Lisa replied
Shin Hye nods “Tell the Alpha I’ll try my best”
Lisa nods then stood up still holding the cup of instant coffee “Call me when you get something” she said as I stood up with
“Sure” Shin Hye smirked “I would see you off but as you can see I’m busy being pregnant”
Lisa rolled her eyes and walked out the office I walked towards the door following Lisa then turned to my heels back at Shin Hye “Noona can you help me find someone?”
(Noona in Korean means an older sister or a female who is older than you and only guys can call lady’s who is older than them Noona)
“Noona?” Shin Hye scoffs “You only call me Noona you desperately need something” she laughs “Whoever you want to find must be incredibly important to you” she folds her hand “Alright who do you want to find?”
“Me”
“What?” her eyebrow furrows in a question
“I need you to find what I did three months ago, on the day I was supposed to fly out to Russia”
“Uhm Jin Seok I’m really confused”
“Noona just please check the CCTV in the airport or records to see if I really got on the plane three months ago”
She pauses, her eyes piercing through mine like she was looking for something in my eyes “I don’t even want to ask why” she said “But okay. I‘ll get back to you when I find you”
I sighed relief that she was going to help then smiled at her “Thank you very much” I said before walking out of her office. If anyone could find out what I’ve been doing for the back three months it would be Shin Hye, she was the best tracker in the city before she got married and decided to take over the police station. I’m sure she can find me
I’m sure she would be able to help me fill up the blank memories
