Chapter 5 - Mr. & Mrs. Lewis

"What?! Ano?!" Sabay na sigaw ni Riley at Harper.

"You can't be serious Captain! I mean that's absurd!" Naiiling na sambit ni Harper, umiiling iling at napatingin sa namimilog an mga mata ni Riley.

"Sang-ayon ako sa kanya Captain. I mean with all due respect sir, I don't think it's a good idea. Baka po pumalpak ang plano dahil no way na papayag ako sa plano niyo." Pagrarason naman ni Riley, mabilis na pag-iling ang ginawa niya. Namumutla siya at di makahinga.

"Detectives this is the best idea we can come up with. Hindi kayo paghihinalaan and malaya kayong makakapag imbestiga sa sindikato. I mean it will only be for a few months." Pagpapaliwanag ni Captain Mendoza.

"A few months?!" Sabay ulit ang dalawa, now they are really shock.

Riley's POV

Diyos ko asawa agad?! As in agad2x talaga?! Kahit drop dead gorgeous tong mokong na to di pa rin ako papayag makasama to sa iisang bubong. Baka kung ano pang magawa ko't makasuhan ako ng s****l harrassment!

"Pero Captain I don't think I can do it, ni wala pa nga akong boyfriend pag-aasawahin niyo na ako!" Reklamo ni Riley sa uncle niya.

Harper's POV

Oh this is bad! Really bad! It's hard enough for me to be so close to her now and control myself not to grab her and kiss her senseless! How much more staying in one house with her?! God! I don't think I would be able to control myself then.

"Don't get me wrong but I'm not the marrying type, I don't want any distractions when I'm on a mission." It's better to play it cool and act like the idea doesn't excite me at all!

"Huh! Distraction my ass! I don't even want to be in the same area as you, let alone a room! Ipatapon niyo na ako sa Afghanistan Captain wag ko lang makasama ang antipatikong to!" Duru niya kay Harper.

"Kahit ipahunting niyo pa sa akin ang mga Abu Sayaf gagawin ko! Wag ko lang makita ang pagmumukha nito araw-araw!" Ang kapal lang ha?! Ako distraction? Ikiss kita diyan eh makita mo!

" Well excuse me! And who told you that I want to be with you and be your husband?! Hah! Dream on Rambo girl! I'd rather marry my dog than marrying you!" s**t! why does she look so sexy even if she's angry and being a b***h. Control Harper West! You're not a hormonal teenager anymore, get a grip man! She is going to be my death I tell you.

Now, I know you must be wondering what the hell they are talking about? Well, remember that they are planning to expose the drug Lord and stop drug trafficking in Universities? The thing is, Captain Mendoza came up with a brilliant plan kung paano nila mapipenetrate ang School ng di nabubunyag ang cover nila.

The plan is, Harper will be the new Swimming and taekwondo Coach. Yup! He'll be teaching swimming and martial arts while Riley will be the new Guidance Counselor. And as planned they will be introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Lewis, newly weds and live in an apartment near the University. This is going to be fun don't you think?

"Sir wala na ba talagang ibang option?" Diyos ko paano ko ba lulusutan to? Baka tuluyan akong mafall sa lalaking to kung araw-araw ko kasama and makikita.

" Detective Mendoza, Harper, I think this is a good plan. Please bear in mind that we are doing this for the greater good. Set aside your indifference and start working together in order for this mission to succeed, understood?" Sabat ni Major Salazar na halatang naiirita na sa bangayan ng dalawa.

" The duration of this mission is entirely up to you, now the more you dislike each other the more you delay things. So why not talk things out, sort out whatever it is your issues with each other, and then get on with the mission. The sooner we do this the sooner we catch these people, you hear?"

Nagtinginan ang dalawa sabay nag-irapan.

"We will give you one week to get to know each other better and come up with a strategy to make this fake marriage work ok? If you want you can start living in the apartment today para mas maaga kayong makapag bonding and please refrain from killing each other." Pagbibiro ni Captain Mendoza sa dalawa, nagtawanan silang dalawa ni Major Salazar.

Damn it! God help me if I can survive one day with this woman. Or should I say if I survive without committing a crime?

God kill me now! Bakit ako? Nagsisimba naman ako linggo-linggo, mabait naman ako. Bakit niyo ako pinaparusahan at pinadala dito ang aroganteng lalaking to? s**t, paano ko ipapaalam kay nanay? " Tito, anong sasabihin ko kay nanay pag nagtanong? Paano ko ipapaliwanag na titira ako sa iisang bubong kasama ang isang lalaki?"

" Ako na ang bahala sa nanay mo Riley, just tell her, you have a very important mission. Now let's discuss further the plan and kung ano ang mga dapat niyong tandaan and gawin.

" I can't believe I'm agreeing to this, uncle kailangan ba talagang ganito? Hindi ba pwedeng mag girlfriend boyfriend lang muna kami? We hardly know each other, we've only just met. How can we pull this off and convince the people that we are happily married?" Will I be allowed to kiss her? Since we're supposed to be husband and wife, it's normal right? Harper asked himself.

" That's why we are giving you one week to get to know each other Harper, before we proceed with the operation. Iho, I trust you and I know you can pull this off." Major Salazar answered his nephew.

" Oh and Riley your partner Max will be joining your team as well, siya ang magiging bagong head of security sa University. We believe may kasabwat na security guards ang mga taong ito kaya natatakpan ang mga operations nila sa loob ng Unibersidad. But you can't let people know na magkakilala kayo okay?" Pagbabalita ni Captain Mendoza kay Riley.

" Hay salamat naman at least hindi ako totally masisiraan ng ulo sa misyong to. So tito I expect you'll visit nanay today? I mean if I have to transfer to the apartment by today kailangan mo na akong ipagpaalam kay nanay right?" Patay talaga ako nito. Ano kaya magiging reaction ni nanay?

" How old are you? Why do you have to ask for permission from your mom? I mean you are an adult, if you want to leave and get your own place you can always do that right?" Tanong ni Harper kay Riley na ikinausok na naman ng tumbong ng dalaga.

" Well excuse me! Hindi ito America detective, we don't practice that kind of independence here. Dito hangga't hindi ka pa nag aasawa pwede ka pang tumira sa mga magulang mo and may respeto kami sa mga magulang namin. Hindi ko kayang iwanan ang pamilya ko para lang matawag na independent!" Aba ang herodes na to nang-iinsulto pa naku kung di ka lang gwapo matagal na kitang tinumba mokong ka!

" That's enough!" Saway ni Major Salazar sa dalawa na nag-uumpisa na naman sa bangayan nila.

" Now let's discuss your new identity. We have to come up with new names, fake documents, and other things para hindi kayo matrace ng sindikato. Although the Heads of the University and some high ranking officials there know your real identity, we still have to be very careful okay?" Pagpapatuloy ng Major.

"So Harper you will be known as James Lewis, grew up in the US, an ex-marine, and graduated from UCLA. While Riley's new name will be Sarah Lewis, BS Psychology graduate in UST, you will now be known as Mr. and Mrs. Lewis. You met here in the Philippines 2 years ago while Harper was visiting me, got engaged a year after, and got married in the US last year." 

"So I suggest you should really know each other para walang sabit. Know each other's likes and dislikes, favorites, and even allergies. All personal pieces of information para di kayo mapaghinalaan ng mga tao. Captain Mendoza here will provide all your documents to the Universiy and to you as well so you better get used to calling yourself James and Sarah or whatever endearment you'd prefer calling each other."

"Can I call him devil?" My gorgeous devil oh di ba bagay? Demonyo naman kasi tong lalaking to, Dinidemonyo ang utak ko.

"Can I call her witch?" My sexy temptress of a witch. She has bewitched me since I laid eyes on her.

Napapailing na lang sina Captain Mendoza at Major Salazar.

" I think everything will be fine. Why, you're starting to play the role, you're arguing as normal married couples do." Natatawang sabi ni Major Salazar pati na rin si Captain Mendoza ay natatawa din sa dalawa.
