Harper's POV
I have to forget about that girl if I want to get things done ASAP, but damn! She's really something! Those lips make me want to kiss her senseless.
Oh, Harper get a grip of yourself man! She looks like trouble and you know it. Besides, you don't need distractions right now, you are going back to the US after this.
Finally, I've arrived at Captain Mendoza's office. My uncle just called me and told me to go straight to Captan Mendoza's office, well here goes nothing.
knock knock "come in! " Says the voice from the inside.
" Aaah finally you're here iho!" Masayang salubong ni Major Salazar sa pamangkin.
" Good morning Major, good morning Captain." Pagbibigay galang ni Harper sa mga official.
"Good morning! Good morning! Have a seat son." Sambit ni Captain Mendoza.
" Captain this is my nephew, Detective Harper West. Son this is Captain Mendoza, siya ang may hawak ng kaso." Pagpapakilala ng Major sa dalawa.
" Pleased to meet you, Captain."
" The pleasure is mine detective, and thank you for accepting our cry for help." Nakangiting sambit ng Kapitan.
" Hintayin muna natin si Detective Riley bago mag-umpisa sa ating pag-uusapan."Pahabol pa nito.
Riley, hmmmm that's a good name. His name sounded like he's a tough guy. I won't have a problem working with him. Suddenly there's another knock on the door and then, in came HER!
" Good morning Captain, good morning Major." Pagbibigay galang ni Riley.
" Oh good, andito ka na! We've been waiting for you, so let us proceed with our agenda? " Masayang pagbati ng Kapitan kay Riley.
" But before that, let me introduce you to Detective Harper West from West Private Investigation Agency. You will be assigned together on this case. Harper this is detective Riley Mendoza our best on the field." Pagpapaliwanag ni Captain Mendoza."
" You're Riley?!" Gulat na tanong ng binata.
" Yeah may problema?" Mataray na sagot ng dalaga. Of all people itong mokong na to pa ang makakapartner ko? Kung mamalasin ka nga naman!
Shit! This is not good how am I supposed to focus on my job if she will be my partner?! I might end up protecting her or worse get killed because of her!
"Ahmm, there must be a mistake, I don't work with girls, baka instead of doing my job I'll end up babysitting her or be in trouble. No offense meant here I'm just stating the obvious." Pagpapaliwanag ni Harper sa mga naroroon.
" Are you under estimating me, BOY?! Are you saying I'm weak? Because if you are I'm challenging you!" Ang herodis na to, minamaliit ang kakayanan ko, tuturuan kita ng leksyon kumag ka!
" Don't get me wrong Miss, but what I'm saying is that you might not be the right person for this job. Based on what I've heard, we will be dealing with dangerous people. " Damn she really look hot when she's angry.
"I'm quite aware of that! Before you arrive I'm handling this case on my own and I believe I'm doing pretty well, right Captain?" You better have a good reason Tito kung wala di kita kakausapin ng isang taon.
The nerve of this guy! Akala mo kung sinong magaling, sarap bigyan ng black eye eh!
" Now, now kids there's no reason to fight, you are both the best on your field that is why we've chosen you to handle this case." Awat ni Captain Mendoza sa nag-iinit na agents.
"And Harper, don't look down on Riley just because she's a girl, she is well trained in all kinds of martial arts and is proven to be the best there is. If there's anyone that I can trust with this case that's her. " Pagtatanggol ng Kapitan sa pamangkin.
Ganyan nga Tito ipahiya mo itong ungas na to! Tsura nito porket gwapo ka and macho pwede mo na akong laitin?! Halikan kita dyan makita mo. Ay ano ba tong naiisip ko!
Tumigil ka Riley kalaban siya! Di ka pwedeng magpadala sa nang-aakit nyang mata at mapupulang labi. s**t! I'm loosing it! Focus Riley! Focus!
" If you say so, sir." Oh God help me, I hope I can survive this, she'll be the death of me.
" Okay! Now that we got that out of the way, why don't we all sit down and discuss the details of this mission?" Pagtatapos ni Major Salazar sa argumento.
" The purpose of this mission is to penetrate the syndicate, matrace kung saan nanggagaling ang droga at kung sino ang nagpapakalat nito sa mga University, para din mahinto na ang mga hazing activities dito" Pagsisimula nito.
" We came up with a brilliant idea kung paano kayo makakagawa ng investigation without being noticed or being caught. Captain Mendoza will explain it to you."
Why do I get the feeling that I won't like what I'm about to hear next? Jesus what have I gotten myself into? I better not regret my decision to help. Harper thought to himself.
He really cannot concentrate when Riley is around, what more if they are already on the mission? She is a gonna be my downfall, I tell you.
I don't need another relationship, the last one I had ended up in disaster. She cheated on me with one of my detectives. To think that we were about to get married. That's why I need to be careful and guard my heart, I can't lose my wits right now. He looked at her secretly, she really is beautiful, heaven, help me.
Shit wag naman sanang pagdamitin ako ng bestida,manununtok talaga ako! Palakarin mo na ako sa barb wire wag lang pasuotin ng dress at high heels, ikamamatay ko! Diyos mio! Dasal naman ni Riley.
Sa lahat naman kasi ng agents sa departamento bakit narimport pa si Major Salazar? Kaloka, giyera ba talaga pupuntahan nila o Mr. Universe?
Napaka yummy naman kasi ng mokong na to kahit antipatiko. Yong brown eyes niya at curly eye lashes, nakakapanghina ng buto. Lord, pinagtripan mo na naman ako eh. Di pa ako ready Papa God, wala pa sa plano and boys.
Napasulyap na naman siya sa lalki at nagtama ang paningin nila, napangiti ito at agad namn niyang binawi ang paningin niya dito. s**t! Bulong niya sa sarili.
