Chapter 4 - The Moon

Seanna Myst POV

It has been a full week since staying with the Crimson Sun Wolf Pack. Ares and I have been dealing with so much stress from the rouge attacks, dealing with Jessica Holmes trying to break Ares and I up. Sighing from the stress from the day with Jessica. Just thinking about her still pisses me off, she has no respect for anyone. What pissed me off the most is how she treated Cassandra. Mother Cassandra is one tough woman. She reminded me so much of my late grandmother, with how her I-don’t-take-s**t-from-no-one attitude. Almost brought me to tears a few times, just watching how she stood up for me when I could have flatten Jessica on her ass. I wanted to keep the respect of being in another’s territory even when we are here to help. Shaking my head to relieve the nausea I have been feeling for the last week. I have an idea what the cause of my nausea and tiredness has been, but I don’t want to give our hopes up in case it wasn’t what I think it could be. Getting up from my spot on the bed, I made my way to the balcony of our room. Looking out towards the dark woods seeing if they are heading back here from the scouting. If I am with the pup. I’m not sure how Ares will react to the news. Feeling how my heart is racing from being worried and anxious of the outcome of the situation. 

“Seanna, it’s been two weeks since we had made love with our mate.” Whining slightly from within her human counterparts mindscape, wanting to be with her mate so bad. 

“Lilianna, I know. I miss Ares all ready.” Deciding to leave the balcony window, I make my way to the bathroom. The only light shining in the entire room was coming from the full moon outside. Taking one last glance outside, I kept my eyes scanning the forest entrance for our loving mate. Sighing for the thousands of time today, feeling how tired I was, I knew I needed to find out the results. Walking into the bathroom, making my way over the towards the pregnancy test results. I had taken the test earlier today at the clinic along with Mother Cassandra. Smiling slightly in fear of knowing what to expect with the results. Sitting down on the closed toilet. Grabbing the results, I can feel my heart racing faster while reading the paperwork. My eyes widen slightly, I can feel my hands shake with what I have read. 

“Lilianna, you were right. It only took the first time we were together. Now, we have our own pup on the way.” Sighing, feeling so much happiness with knowing that we would be parents so soon. Resting my hands upon my stomach, I can now feel the slight bump of our pup growing within my womb.

“Told you so sea. We have to tell our mate” ending the mind link with Lilianna. Taking a deep breath in, making my way back into the room towards the balcony window. Looking up towards the full moon in the twilight sky. Seeing million of the stars sparkling high above the night sky. Closing my eyes, praying to the moon goddess to give me the strength to tell my mate about our pup. Hearing a sudden noise behind me, snapping my eyes open scanning around my room looking for what had caused the noise to happen. 

“Ares? Are you back?” narrowing my bright blue eyes, hiding my scent from whoever was in the room with me. 

“Seanna, I will keep all of my strength to protect our pup.” Hearing what Lilianna said, doing all that we can, now that we have special cargo to protect along with our own life. Before I knew it, I felt something pinch the back of my neck. Feeling how drowsy I have become, feeling the darkness ready to consume me. The last thought I had was of Ares and our the need to protect our pup. Letting the darkness take over my mind, I felt myself being carried out of the balcony window.

Ares Maxwell POV

Scouting around the entire area of the forest had taken us a little longer to find and locate any more rouges near the territory. The only thing I wanted to do was to be back home and be with my angel. I knew how worried she must have felt, as I can feel her fears and worry coursing through our bond. The last thing I had felt was my mate’s inner strength before I lost the connection all together. Stopping in my tracts on our way back towards my brother’s pack. I spoke my fears when I saw my mother running towards me, crying her eyes out.

“Ares! Seanna is missing.” My heart stopped when I heard they took my mate right from underneath us. 

“No” falling towards the ground on me my knees, letting my emotions let loose, this feeling of despair hits right through my heart. I can only stare at the ground, feeling my own hot tears run down face, ignoring my mother hugging me. 

“Who would take my angel from me?” taking in a deep breath, hugging my mother to calm my heart down from the pain. Standing up with my mother, making our way towards my bother’s office. Trying to keep my cool, even when all I want to do is go out and search for my sweet angel. Letting my mother go, I pushed open the door with all of my strength, seeing both Dominic and Nathan arguing about what happened to my Seanna. 

“Instead of f*****g causing a damn ruckus. We need to figure out who took my mate.” Growling dangerously, fighting my hold against Ra, trying to keep us from tearing apart my brother and best friend. 

“Boys! Enough fighting!” jumping slightly, letting out a slight whine from hearing my mother use her Luna voice against all three of us. Taking a closer step towards my brother encase, our mother snaps once again at our behaviour. “Mother, please calm down. We are sorry for even raising out voices. We want to find Seanna as much as everyone else here in our pack. Just hearing my brother practically beg our angry mother, I take my way towards the window next to Dom. “Don’t worry, man. We will find Seanna. She is a tough woman.” Looking at my best friend coldly, nodding my head, understanding how strong my mate truly is. Closing my green eyes, I try to feel out my mates bound through our mate bond. Ignoring everyone in the room, especially the b***h who just walked in. 

“Jessica, what in the hell are you doing here?!” hearing my brother growl out with disdain of seeing the wench in his office. 

“Nathan,  I heard what happened to Seanna. I just wanted to be here for Ares.”Jessica replied.

 Feeling my anger rise from deep within my soul. I snap my eyes open, letting Ra take over while I try to calm down myself.

Ra’s POV

Letting Ares take a break from dealing with everything that is going on, especially with when our mate is somewhere with whoever has her. Stocking my way dangerously towards the damn b***h who has done nothing but cause pain for my partner. Letting my brown eyes darken even more making my way over to them both. 

“Nathan, send out your best trackers. Let them know not to locate seanna’s scent. Knowing my princess, she may as well keep her scent hidden” turning towards Nathan, seeing him nod his head right away, making calls from his desk. 

“Ares!” Jessics screeched. 

Side stepping out of the way of Jessica. Smirking from watching her face plant onto the floor. Crossing my arms across my chest, watching with amusement with how stupid Jessica really was.

“Jessica, let me make something clear. My princess is not here where he should have been safe. Instead, someone has taken her from me” narrowing my pitch black eyes, snarling with a growl of anger towards the whole situation.  

“Ra, let me take back the control. This has to end now.” Smirking at the bitching, faking her tears of pain. Closing my eyes, I let Ares take back his complete control. 

“Make the b***h understand Ares. We need to find our princess” after Ares closed off our mind link, I was feeling really agitated not knowing where our mate is. Just knowing anything could happen to our precious princess. Laying down my tired Golden wolf body, trying to at least rest and working on fixing the mate bond between ourselves and our mate. “This can not be happening,  we need our mate. She is our world, our everything.” Last of my thoughts before I let myself fall asleep, listening to Ares work with everyone to find our sweet princess, our life.

Seanna Myst POV

Feeling myself being gently pushed by someone near me. I snap open eyes growling to warn off the person who was pushing me. “H-hey. Sorry, I didn’t know if you would wake up.” Hearing a small female voice next to me, I slowly try sitting up with the help of the female. Staring at her I noticed how deathly thin she looks, her eyes were a soft pretty colour reminding me of lilacs. Shaking my head to ignore the pain that was causing me to feel a headache. 

“Who are you? speaking for the first time since being kidnapped right out of my brother-in-laws pack. 

“My name is Serena, Serena Braxton. I do not understand where we are. They took me right out of home nearly a month now.” Watching her shiver from barely wearing anything upon her small petite body. Sighing in annoyance, I knew Ares would search for me right about now. 

“Lilianna can you hear me?” fearing that I may not mind link with my dear friend. “Sea, I can hear you crystal clear. Our pup is safe. I am doing everything I can to keep the barrier and scent of our pup from being noticed” letting our link cut short, letting Lilianna have all the strength she needs to keep our pup safe. 

“Serena, we will break out of here. We need to find out where we are located.” Taking my time to stand up from being on the cold hard stone floor for however long it has been. Leaning my back against the wall, resting my head on the wall, scanning around the room seeing if there is anyway we can get make it out of this damn place. 

“Seanna, how do we plan to get out of here?” letting my eyes connect with Serena’s seeing how worried she was. “Serena, do you know what I am?” narrowing my eyes in thought, encase I had to help her in more ways than one. Watching her nod her head, agreeing towards my question. Sighing, thankful that this will be easy to escape for us. 

“All right, this is what we will do, I know how these damn doors break easily.” Sighing from being so tired, I knew we had no choice but to escape quickly. If I am correct, then I believe we maybe a day away from my home. The Howling Wolf Pack.

 “All right, we should wait till the guards leave, they leave when they have there girls they take with them.” Watching her speak disgusted with how things happened around her for so long. Giggling softly at the situation. I knew Serena and I will become fast friends with how things have been. Closing my eyes, I felt my mate bonds connect return to me. Sighing happily, knowing I can contact Ares now. With Serena’s help, I am sitting back down on the ground as my body almost gave out from the stress and weariness of the entire ordeal. “

Ares! Please, can you hear me?!” Trying to keep myself from sobbing, I had to stay strong not just for myself but for our pup. Leaning against Serena we both slept to escape, before we make the break from this place and try to see if we can get back to my pack in hope too contacting my fierce strong warrior mate. This entire thing is doing nothing but causing more strain on my body. Sleep consumed both of us, letting my mate bond grow from within.

Line Break

Another week had gone by. Tonight was the night for them to make the escape and break free from where they were. Night time came quicker for the two women, waiting for the perfect moment to break free from their captivity. Seanna kneels down, looking at the metal doors, seeing what she can. Being not only a doctor, she was a warrior. Her training kicking in from so long ago, looking at her partner in crime. Making sure she is ready to book it out of the place they were in. Letting one of her hands semi-shift into of her claws. Using one of her long nails, seanna worked on getting the lock to unlock for them. Once hearing the lock click, both women were smiling to hear the noise they so needed to hear. 

“All right, let’s go!” grabbing Serena’s hand, making sure they won’t separate. Both women sneak their way towards the hidden door they saw earlier in the day. Making sure no one was around for them, Seanna let’s herself use one of her given gifts to hide both of their own scents. Quickly, Seanna pushes the door open. Feeling the fresh air hit her face, looking behind her to see the relief upon her friend’s face. Nodding at each other both woman walks away from the place they had stayed in for the last week. Seanna made sure her pup was safe. Placing her other hand on to her small swollen belly. Rubbing small soothing circles, letting her pup know they will be all right.

“Seanna, do you know where we are going from here?” Serena spoke to Seanna, making sure she is all right with the travel. Sighing tiredly from the lengthy walk, Seanna keeps heading in the right direction towards her pack’s territory. Scanning the surrounding area, letting her senses take control. 

“Serena, it won’t be much longer till we make it to the border entry.” Letting her fears and strength to protect her pup and friend from anything that could harm them. Not even three hours later, they both made it near the border of the Howling Wolf Packs. It has taken them at least a few days to make it back into friendly territory. Letting out a slight sob from her soft chap pink lips, Seanna pulls her friend along with her, making it past the entry into the Land that she has known for the last six years now. Both women head in the main's direction road leading them into the Howling Wolf Packs community. Once they have passed the major road. Both women can feel the strain from the travelling and Serena becomes worried for her friend seeing her take seat on a bench near a beautiful water fountain. Sitting next to her friend, knowing that it was mid day. Becoming more worried when seeing Seanna lay down on the cold bench curled up hugging her mid drift to protect the precious child she carries. Looking around, seeing if she can find someone to help them find a doctor. Standing, seeing a beautiful woman walking by wearing a white lab coat. 

“Hey! Wait, can you please help us?” running up towards the brunette women with sharp hazel-green eyes. “Oh, please don’t let this be an enormous mistake” as her only thought staying close to her friend sleeping on the cold hard bench. Turing back around, she noticed the women she asked for help disappeared. Worrying Serena looked over towards her friend, seeing a very tall muscular handsome man picking up her friend from the bench. 

“Hey, wait! Where are you taking her?!” running after the handsome man who has her friend in his arms. The only thing she could do was follow them towards a beautiful clinic near the same place they just were. Trying to keep her own fear at bay, following right behind the man who was cradling her dear friend against his larger frame.

“Um, Sir? Where are you taking my friend?” stopping right behind him, jumping backwards slightly in fear of not knowing who this man was. Watching him place Seanna onto the gurney, handing her off to a younger girl. Sighing in wait, she noticed the man that carried her friend here, was staring at her with piercing green eyes and slight narrow of his eyes. 

“Follow me. We need to go speak with the Alpha” Nodding my head, trying to keep my fears at bay from this handsome man, who she had no choice but to follow him. They had reached towards an enormous building in the centre of town. Ares could not believe his angel was home. After searching for weeks on end, with no sleep. Entering the building, heading straight towards the Alpha’s office. Monitoring, the youthful woman was with his mate. Opening the office door open letting the youthful women to enter first before he followed shutting the door behind him. What he heard, saw coming from his Best friend was not what he had expected to happen. “Mine” watching his Alpha hug the youthful women who seemed terrified at the situation.

“Ares, it’s Lex. Seanna and your pup are doing fine now. I have her on an IV. It seems Lilianna had used up all of her own strength to keep Seanna and your pup alive. She will wake up tomorrow.” Ares closed the pack mind link with Lexi, sighing and letting himself take seat knowing his family would be all right. Now, the only thing he needs to work on is to find out who dared take his angel from. When he finds whoever took her in the first place, they will pay for it with their own lives. That he will make sure it happens. No one takes his mate from him.
