The superpowers came and went, somehow influenced by a variety of factors Vic and Matt hadn’t quite managed to work out despite the time they’d been together. It wasn’t the same power every time. At first they thought their positions during s*x dictated which power Vic would get, and they even once had a copy of the Kama Sutra for Gay Men, its margins marked up as they experimented their way through the book. But other elements seemed to factor in, as well. Sometimes the severity of a power was influenced by their moods, or what they’d eaten before making love, or even whatever clothing they wore during s*x, if any.
