Chapter 2
Across town, Matt diLorenzo sat curled up on the sofa in the living room of the apartment he shared with Vic. He had the latest issue of Smithsonian magazine open on his lap, but he wasn’t reading it. The television was on, as well, tuned to whatever came on after Jeopardy!, but he wasn’t watching it. His eyes were closed, his whole body completely still, but he wasn’t asleep.
He was looking for Vic.
Well, feeling for him was more accurate. The two men shared a special bond, one that went beyond simply being lovers. They connected on a deeper level, thanks to the special abilities Vic attained whenever they made love.
