I Need Her

~ Nathan's POV ~

"Where is she? Where is my mate, dad? I want her. I WANT TO SEE HER IN FRONT OF MY EYES!" I growled at my father and he just glared at me and that made me realize that he is still the Alpha, but I don't care about that thing.

I only wanted to see Aylana in front of me. Waylen, my wolf, was not only angry with me, but he was threatening me.

I never wanted a lowly omega as my mate, but the moon goddess has different plans for me. When she rejected me, I was broke from inside. The pain that I felt when our bond was breaking was something that I am still not able to forget.

'I told you… I told you not to hurt our mate, didn't I? So, why? Why didn't you listen to me?' Waylen yelled at me inside my head.

I was still holding my head as it was taking me some time to heal my wounds. There was nobody by my side when I opened my eyes. It was my father who found me in this part of the dark forest.

"I can't believe that you called that lowly thing your mate, Nathan, and not only that… you even screamed at me for the sake of that bastard. That girl will not be able to handle the next position of Luna. After a week or two, we might find her body covered deep in the snow. You should just forget…" I didn't let him do what he was going to say.

For the first time, I grabbed my father by his collar. He was stunned because of my actions, "Not another word, dad. She is mine. My mate. She will have to stay by my side and accept her fate even if I am going to torment her.

How could she run away from me? No, the question should be what were the guards doing when she crossed the borders with her mother? Answer me, dad!" I glared at him and he tried to use his Alpha aura on me, but it's already the time when I am going to take over his position as the next Alpha.

I punched the bark of the olden tree and blood started to ooze out of my wounded hand. This pain is bearable, but the one that is breaking me from inside was surely not.

"Why are you concerned about her, Nathan? Forget about her. A lone wolf can't survive for too long, so she is certainly going to die either by cold or by hunger. An omega is not good at hunting.

I am by your side, so you surely won't need her." Livia kept her hand on my shoulder and my mother was nodding her head in agreement with what the stupid b***h was saying against Aylana.

Before this day, I would have agreed with them, but not anymore. I am not sure why the f**k I am getting angry when my family and Livia are insulting Aylana and I don't understand why it broke me from inside when she rejected me? I shouldn't have felt anything. It should be her who should have been hurt when she saw me with Livia.

"Livia is right, son. Why are you hurting yourself because of that b***h? She is not worthy of you. I told Jaycen not to take in that mute woman, but he lost his mind when he saw her beautiful face. She's definitely a slut and so is her daughter. Let's go back to our packhouse." My mom tried to coax me and she seriously thought that I would listen to her.

Why can't I hear a single word against her? Mom is right. She is gone, but how could I easily let her escape from my grasp? She should be here. She should suffer just the way I am suffering because of her.

"Are you both done? I said that I wanted Aylana. I never asked you to give me your opinions. I am going to take our pack members to that side of the border. We are going north to bring my mate back. As their new Alpha, this is going to be my first order for them." I pushed Livia away as she was trying to rub her bosom against me.

Aylana should be the one to beg me not to reject her as my mate, yet here I am being rejected by her… a lowly omega. Livia tried to ask me about my sudden interest in Aylana and she even tried to take the support of my mother. I should have waited. I could sleep with someone like Livia anytime that I wanted, but because of her, I lost the chance to mark my Aylana as mine.

I looked up at the night sky and there was a full moon shining in the sky. This was something that Aylana enjoyed the most when she was at her lowest. It's her fault. Why did she run away? I don't think that I have done anything wrong. The pack members stood in front of me, but I failed to find Hayley.

"Are you out of your mind, Nathan! You want us to cross the border and go north just for that single girl. Do you even know that the north belongs to those three brothers? You are asking about something impossible, Nathan." My father growled at me. But like I said, he is no longer the Alpha, but I am and I do know what is right for my pack.

That's the reason why he failed to win against the Wind Winder Pack. He always avoided them, believing that those three were invincible or something like that.

"Impossible? Why? I have all the f*****g rights to claim back my mate from that place and if they don't want to fight with us then they should silently return Aylana back to me or they will have to face the consequences." I glared at him while I stated those words to him.

He failed to meet my eyes and when he looked down, the pack members bowed their heads in front of me.

"You don't know anything about those three. Rowan and Ares might not harm us as they are more laid back, but Deimos… he is the most dangerous amongst the three. One might not be able to guess what exactly is going inside his head.

He kills others like it's not a big deal for him and you want us to enter the territory of such a person? Think again, son." This time my father tried to change my decision. He tried to convince me by telling me about those three and how they punish others… especially the ones who have tried to betray them one way or another.

Why would those three risk the lives of their people for the sake of a she-wolf who has yet to have her first shift?

"I don't care, dad. There is no rule that can stop me from finding her out." I said to him and he just sighed in frustration.

There is no way that he could now change my mind. The snowfall was getting heavier, the more we were getting closer to the border of the North. We carefully entered their territory and, strangely there was not even a single guard stationed at the border.

"Is she that important to you, Nathan? I chose you and you are losing your mind behind that girl." Livia continued to complain about how angry she was that I was choosing Aylana over her. It's better to ignore her or she will try to create trouble for me, so that I won't be able to take Alyana back with me.

'I told you that we needed her. I told you not to hurt her, yet you didn't listen to me. Now, what are we going to do without our mate? You need an heir, but without her you won't be able to do anything.' I heard Waylen's words inside my head and he was right. I should have thought before hurting her.

What am I going to do without her? An Alpha can only have children with his fated mate and nobody else, so this is one more reason that I have to bring her back to me.

Waylen is right. We need her… I need her.

The snow was getting thick and it was getting hard for us to walk in the snow. I tried to trace her by her scent, but strangely I was not able to smell her scent. Don't tell me that she is not here?

"Have you noticed something, Alpha Nathan? There is no moon in the sky here." One of my pack members stopped in his tracks when he looked up in the sky and I also noticed the same thing. I have never heard a thing about a moonless night and that too, on a full moon night.

This was the strangest thing that I have noticed today. I could not smell her scent, but I could feel that she was hiding somewhere around this place. I just have to find her and after that, I will take her back with me.

After finding her, I will first punish her for disrespecting me. Waylen might not agree with me on this, but this was something that she deserves for rejecting me.

Suddenly, I heard the howling of some other pack members and my people stopped in their tracks when we saw that some other pack was approaching us.

I smiled when I saw the familiar bluish-black hair, but I right clenched my fists when I saw her in the arms of some other man. What the f**k is she doing in someone else's arms? I thought that she might beg me to take her back, but forget about begging, she is shamelessly enjoying the attention of some other guy.

"Well, hello there. So, what are you doing here? I don't remember inviting any of you, so why did you intrude into my territory?" The guy who was holding Aylana in his arms smirked at me and that just pissed me off.

Why is someone like him here and what does he have anything to do with my mate?
