SKYLA’s POV “I’m sorry,” I apologized. “Save it,” she sneered, not even bothering to look up from the magazine she was flipping through. Her icy response made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Okay,… rude. She finally looked up, her cold eyes piercing into mine. “Follow me, let’s go somewhere more quiet,” she requested.
