"Go ahead, sweetheart; I will join you inside in a bit. I just need to get something quickly, " I told Skyla.
"Uh, okay," she replied after a short pause.
"Don't be nervous, okay? Kai and Blaze are already waiting inside," I said, giving her a reassuring smile.
She nodded and made her way inside. I waited until she was inside the pack house before entering my car. I had a little 'job' to do before joining them inside.
