Caly's POV
Last night Colin and Dr. M came back in and checked me over. Afterwards, I stayed up for a while talking with Colin. He didn’t ask where the Alpha went, and we didn’t see him again. He fell asleep in here again last night, but he was gone before I woke up. I decided to shower and dress since I knew breakfast would still be an hour away. It was nice having a watch, rather than guessing at the time.
Once again he was working away in his corner when I emerged from the bathroom.
“So did you hear the water running and rush down here? Is this how I have to summon a Beta now?” He completely ignores me.
