Caly's POV
Since the day we talked with Alpha Darius, the Alpha hasn't come to see me, either with Colin, or on one of his late-night visits. Colin has barely been around either. Yesterday, he didn't stop by at all.
I count myself lucky. When I felt my energy trying to help Colin, that was just the beginning. If I don't have my wolf, how do I have this energy crackling under my skin?
I can feel a familiar tingling and itching starting in my wrists like it is trying to jump right out of my skin. Goddess it hurts. I'm not sure if it's because it is stored up, or because Athena was helping to dampen the effects.
All I can hope is that she's trying to find her way back to me. I've opened my mind to her, but I don't feel anything from her end.
