Reluctant Mate

She's Awake

Charlie's POV

My good was gone as soon as I saw Layla in my home again. I was getting tired of her. I hand't seen her since I threatened her. I walked into my room juggling my sandwich and the girl's soup. I looked over to the girl who was now awake and sitting up. I almost dropped her soup cause I was surprised to see her awake. She smiled at me as I slowly walked to her. I hand her the soup, " Here is some soup. Eat first then we can talk if you want."

The girl nodded as we both ate. I watched her. She was about my height and size. She had shoulder length blonde hair and had grey eyes. She looked almost like me just had different hair and eyes. After a few minutes she sat her bowl down, " Are you Luna Charlie?"

I swallowed the last bit of my food and nodded. The girl smiled at me, " May I ask what your name is and how you know me?"

She smiled even brighter at me, " My name is TA. I know your Uncle Alec. We had spoken a few weeks ago about getting you an new ID, passport, and other things because you would be leaving. He contacted me the night of you birthday and told me plans had changed. He asked me to keep an eye out on you. So I headed here. I remember getting lost and falling down a hill. I remember a sharp pain in my thigh and i coulndt move my hand."

I placed a hand on her hand to help soothe her. I look at her, " You have beeen through a lot. I and Beta Ashton have been watching over you the past few weeks. If you would like I can lleave so you can get more rest?"

She grabbed my hand, " PLease no more sleep. Talk with me. I heard from your Uncle that you found your mate."

I groanned at that. TA looked utterly confused, " What is wrong?"

Me: " I did. I just feel like the Moon Goddess made a mistake by making him my mate."

TA: " The Moon Goddess doesn't make mistakes. She hand picks everyone mates."

Me: " She gave me a mate who cares for another. I am grateful to her because she has blessed me with a pup, but the father I just don't know."

I started to cry a little. TA pulled me into her arms while I cried, " It will be okay Charlie. The Moon Goddess never gives us more than we can handle."

I stopped sobbing and laughed a little, " I hope so because if this pup is anything like his father I will be spanking him every other hour. "

We both giggled at that. I turned when I heard the door open and saw Killian. He smiled at me, " I see our patient has woken. I will let Ashton and the doctor know. "

I stood and walked toward him, " Will you send Ashton up to me once you have alerted him. "

KIllian nodded and then left. TA howled, " Oh child he is s*x on a stick."

I laughed at that. I felt comfortable with TA so I told her about everything that had happened between Killian and I. I could see concern mixed with amusement in her eyes. She then pulled me into another hug, " Oh sweetie it will al work out you will see. Now tell me about this Ashton is he hott?"

Just as she asked Ashton came running into the door. Once he saw her holding me, " Well I didn't know there was a love fest going on. If I had known I would have been here sooner."

We starred at him like he had grown a third head and laughed. Ashton sat next to me but kept his eyes on TA. We sat in a strange triangle just talking like we had all known each other forever. The doctor came in and bowed her head to me and looked at TA. She did a quick eximination of TA. We were told that TA could move around but she was to take it easy. I walked the doctor out to the front door, " Luna you yourself should took it easy as well. This is your first pup and we don't need anythign to happen to the both of you."

I smiled as she walked away. I placed my hand on my stomach, " Please don't be like your father."
