Killian's POV

I stayed away from the house after I went to find the Doctor. I didn't want to be around anyone I needed to think. Everything had been happening so fast. I met my mate, hurt my mate by bringing in Layla, I hurt my mate when I saw her in Ashton's arms, I had upset her again with Layla, and I was going to be a father. I needed to get my life in order. In less than 10 hours Charlie would be crowned Luna in front of everyone and we would announce that she is with child.

I still can't believe it. I had a pup on the way. I was look forward to knowing if we would have a boy or girl. I was hoping for a boy so I could teach him how to be a great Alpha but I wanted a girl that looked just like Charlie. I felt my phone vibrate and saw that it was Layla. I ignored the call. I had kept my distances from her because I was trying to be a good mate. I left my phone buzz again and saw that she left a voicemail. I sighed and hit play to hear what she had to say.

Layla's Voicemail:

" Hey Sweetie, I know you wanted me out today but I really need to talk to you in person. Plus with everything going on the next few days with her family being here I think I should stay close by just in case you need me. You know where to find me. I do love you Killy Baby!"

End of Voicemail.

I deleted the voicemail. Was she always this needy? IF so I don't remember. I don't even really remember what I saw in her to begin with. Yes the s*x was amazing but what I felt when Charlie and I made love was heaven. Wuld I really give up that feeling just for great s*x?

I shook my headm to clear it of all these stupid thoughts. I needed to put my mate and our pup first. I wished that time would hurry up and get here so I could hold our child. But first I needed to prove to CHarlie that she was mine and I was hers and that I would be there for her. I would let Layla stay till Charlie's Pack left but after that she would move back into the Pack house and I would be done with her once and for all.
