Reluctant Mate

WHAT DID SHE SAY!

Charlie's POV

It has been four weeks since my birthday. Four weeks since I met my mate. Four weeks since Ashton placed the mystery girl in my bed. The same girl who knew I was the Luna and called me by name. So much has changed since my birthday. I hadn't seen Killian in two days and I was pretty sure by the pain I had been feeling that he had been with that hoe wolf. I shouldn't care but I did.

I pushed all thoughts of Killian out of my head and looked down at the girl in my bed.

*FLASHBACK*

" Luna Charlie I found you."

I looked down at the girl with confusion as Ashton asked, " Luna do you know this wolf?"

I shook my head, " I have never seen her in my entire life. Ash please go see where the doctor is while I clean her up some."

Ashton nodded his head and left the room. I wetted the cloth and dabbed the dirt away from her face. The girl looked to be about my age and she was beautiful. She was also extremely covered in dirt and half naked from the waist down. I heard the door open and turned to see Killian and the doctor in the room. The doctor nodded her head to me, " Ashton has told me what has happened Luna. Has she said anything else?"

My eyes flickered between her and Killian, " No Doctor. She has silent since I sent Ashton to find you. She has some bruises around her collar that look like she was chained, her left hand seems broken, and she has a deep gash on her inner right thigh."

The doctor had asked to leave the room so that she could examine the girl. I walked out of my room and Killian followed me out. We stood outside my door for a few minutes in utter silence till the doctor joined us. She bowed her head to both us, " Alpha and Luna the girl will make it. She has lost a lot of blood due to the gash in her thigh. I patched up her thigh, set the bones in her hand, as for the bruise a hot compress every few hours. She will need to sleep which will help her heal. She is lucky that you and Ashton found her. If it is okay with you Luna, I would like to keep her here?"

"Yes, she can stay here.I would have suggested it anyway. I will watch over her. Thank you Doctor."

The Doctor said her goodbyes then left us standing in the hallway. Killian took a step toward me, " If you like Ashton and I can move her to the room next to yours."

I shook my head again, " No. She can sleep in my bed. I will sleep on the couch so that I can keep an eye on her in case she needs anything."

Killian seemed like he wanted to say something but there was shouting coming from down stairs. Killian was the first to run down the stairs and into the living room. I was right behind him and could hear Ashton yelling, " YOU WERE TOLD THE POOL HOUSE NOW GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE! I WON'T HAVE YOU AROUND MY LUNA, YOU b***h!"

I knew he must be talking to to Layla. I stepped around Ashton just in time to see her slap Ashton. As soon as she did that I snapped and growled at her. I advanced on her and slammed her against the wall while holding her neck. She was screaming at me, " LET ME GO YOU w***e!"

I started to laugh at at that which only seemed to anger Layla more. She actually spitted at me while calling me a w***e. I was done, " Lets get some things clear Layla. First off I am not a w***e and will never be one unlike you. Secondly, if you ever touch Ashton or anyone in this pack again I will make your life a living hell. Thirdly, I may have to deal with you living here but I will not tolerate you in my own house. Now as Ashton said GET OUT!"

I let her and headed toward the stairs. I heard Killian call my name so I turned around, " As for you we are done. I will do as upi said and be this Pack's Luna but you and I are done. You can move into the pool house with your she wolf."

I saw pain and hurt in Killian's eyes but I didn't care, he had hurt me far worse by having her anywhere near me. I turned my back on him and walked back up the stairs."

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

There was a slight knock on the door followed by Ashton poking his head in. I smiled when I saw him. We had become good friends over the four weeks, each taking a turn to watch over the girl and sharing our histories. I motioned him to come all the way and to take a seat on the couch. I finally took a good hard look at him and noticed that he was biting his lip which I had discovered meant he had some bad news to tell me. I sat next to him and placed a hand on his leg, " Ash, just tell me already."

He sighed, " Orin, Beta Alec, Alpha Brenton, and Luna Sienna will be here tomorrow for you Luna Crowning."

Me:" Why?"

Ashton:" Killian thought it would be good for you to see your family. In defense he doesn't know about your past."

Me:" That may be true but he should have conculted me like he did with with Crowning."

Of course I would love to see Orin and Alec but not my father or Sienna. I thought just dealing with the Layla stuff but now I had to deal with Sienna. Could my day get any worse. I started to cry. Ashton stood up and pulled me in his arms. He was telling I would be okay and I would get through this. I kept crying harder and Ashton kept talking. 

I was crying so bad that I didn't hear my door open but I did hear the loud growl. He was shooting death glares at Ashton. I was about to explain why Ashton was holding me but the next thing I knew I was be torn away from Ashton and falling fast to the floor. I land on the floor hard. I couldn't move my body was hurting, it seemed like the pain was main in my stomach. I could barely hear Ashton and Killian yelling because of how much pain I was in. 

I started to cry even more and was now screaming. I felt two arms go around me and then being moved really fast somewhere. I opened my eyes and look to see Killian carrying me. He looked so worried. I was placed on a cold bed in a room I had never seen before. I midnlinked to Killian, ' Where am I? Why am I in so much pain?'

He didn't answer me, " Doc, she fell and then started screaming. Help her."

Doc? Did he take me to the doctor? Why would he say I fell when he basically ripped me away from Ashton and threw me on the ground.

I could hear the Doctor tell Killian that she would find out why but she need him to leave the room so she could examine me. I saw her coming to me with a needle, " Luna I am going to give you a sedative to help you relax."

I could answer because everything was hurting. I nodded my head as I felt the needle pierce my skin.

After a few minutes the medicine kicked in and the pain eased. I watched as the doctor drew blood from me and went off to run test. The pain was gone and was I slightly sleepy from all the crying I had just done. I finally dozed off for a few minutes and woke to the doctor shaking me awake. She was smiling, " Luna, time to wake up. I found out some news."

I sat up straight, " What is wrong with me?"

She grabbed my chart and sat on her stool, " Luna have you been feeling sick lately, extra sleep, and very moody?"

I had been feeling all those lately I just thought it was because I was feeling the pain from Killian f*****g his hoe wolf. I answered her, " Yeah about a few weeks ago I started feeling like I was on a Tilt- A-Whirl. Why?"

She smiled more, " Luna you are pregnant!"

DID SHE JUST SAY PREGNANT!!!
