AT JAKE'S POW:

I saw that alpha's son keep talking with Eva, and I could feel how I am slowly starting to get mad. I do not understand what is happening to me. I do not want to act like that in front of my quests.

-In simple words, you are jealous.-My wolf said.

-I am not jealous of what a stupid human.-I said to him, and he frowned.

I am not supposed to like a stupid, weak human girl. If my father finds out about it I will be in huge trouble.

-Why you keep watching that red-dressed girl, son?.-Father asked.

-She is different from others.-I said and smiled.

-What do you mean?-Father asked.

-She is not trying to flirt with me, instead other males are trying to get her attention.-I said.

-I agree. That is different. I will invite her to come closer to us.-Dad said and left.

What did I just do? What if my father recognizes her? I frowned and sat back on my throne. After a few mins, she walked closer to me. She looks pretty nervous, to be honest.

-What is your name?-Das asked her.

-My name Eva your highness.-She said and bowed.

-Which alpha's daughter you are?-Dad asked and I gulped.

-I am a servant here, sir. My friend gave me clothes.-Eva said honestly while looking down.

I saw how my dad sighed and lifted her chin up.

- Witch pack you are from?-My dad asked again.

I saw how she sighed and looked down.

-I am a human girl that your son found, my king.-She said and bowed.

-Wait, so you are that girl who is making those amazing desserts?-One of the alpha's asked.

-I am. Cook helping me a lot too tho.-She said.

I saw how a few alphas walked closer to us and smiled.

-Hello alpha John. I never thought that I will ever see humans in our world.-One of the alpha's said.

-She appeared here out of nowhere.-Dad said.

-I am happy that I was able to meet humans.-Other alpha said.

- I am glad that you are not afraid of me.-Eva said and smiled.

-Why should we be? You are beautiful.-One of alpha's sons said.

I felt how my wolf growled. I know that he feels jealous at this moment. I need to control my emotions or I might do something bad.

-So what are you planning to do with her?-One of the alpha's asked.

I saw how Eva lifted her head and looked at them confused.

-She is working here as a servant and a cook helper so I think that is her position for now.-Dad said.

-I want her to take to my pack.-One of the alpha's said.

-Why do you want that?-I asked.

-I like her cooking. I think that I could treat her better than you, prince Jake.-Alpha said.

-I live here, sir.-Eva said nervously.

-Do you like living here?-Other alpha asked.

-I do, I have friends here. I am living quite a good life here.-Eva said and smiled sweetly.

- That is good if you want to stay with your friends, but you should also think about your own happiness, miss.-Alpha's son said and smiled.

-I do not understand what you are talking about.-Eva said while looking at him, confused.

-My son is telling me that's a low chance for you to find a mate here.-Alpha said.

-What is a 'mate'?-Eva asked, and I chuckled quietly. She knows some stuff, but she does not know the most important things.

- Mate is like a boyfriend in human terms. But in our world mate marks each other so other males can not have them.-My dad said.

-I understand now. I can tell, that if I do not love a guy, I do not want to have him as my mate.-Eva said.

-That is understandable.-Alpha's son said and kissed Eva's hand softly.

I how my wolf growled a bit. I know that he is mad about what is going on. I can smell her, and I know that she is supposed to be my mate. I do not want to make the wrong choice, because I got jealous for a moment.

-The ball is almost over and my son still hasn't decided who he wants for a mate. I think that all of you can leave now.-Dad said and everyone bowed at him.

I watched how Eva bowed and walked off. I saw how all of the guests started leaving and I smiled. She is not going to leave me. Not now. I smirked and walked back to my chambers.

AFTER SOME TIME

AT EVA'S POW:

I changed back to my normal clothes and sighed. I never thought that alpha's sons could pay attention to me. I am quite surprised and shocked at this point. I want to be sure why they acting like that.

-Girl is everything alright?-Alya asked me.

-I think. Everyone acted so weird today.-I said.

-What do you mean?- Alya asked.

-I mean those guys were acting so weird. I mean why alphas would be interested in a human like me. -I said and sighed.

-I have no idea girl. I am sure that there is a reason for everything. I have to go now.-Aya said and left.

I sighed. Alya made me even more confused. Reasons like what? I see nothing special about me. I saw prince Jake walking inside my room. The last time he came here he injured me, but I can not kick him out because he is a prince.

-Good evening.-I said and smiled.

-Good evening, Eva.-He said and I swear that I saw him smiling slightly.

-What bought you here at this time?-I asked.

-I wanted to talk to you about something.-Jake said and sat down.

-Talk about what?-I asked.

-I want to know why you came to the ball.-Jake said.

I looked down and sighed. He deserves to know the truth, and I hope that I won't get in trouble.

-I came because Alya invited me. She said that nothing wrong will happen if I go there.-I said.

-Nothing bad happened, except other alphas have found interest in you.-Jake said.

I sighed again. I see nothing special about me. I felt how he lifted my chin up and looked straight into my eyes. I looked at him and noticed that they became darker than usual.

-I see nothing interest in me. If they only care because I human, that is pretty funy.-I said and smiled.

-I think they are more interested in your cooking skills. You are making desserts that are new to this world, and they liked it.-Jake said.

That is good to know. I thought that they are going to be mad to see a human female in this world.

-Should I take this as a compliment?-I asked.

-I think so, Eva.-Jake said, and I could hear some softness in his voice.

I smiled. Prince Jake might look like a rough and cruel alpha. If you know him more, you can see that he is a nice guy.

-I am glad that you not mad at me for coming to the ball.-I said and smiled.

-I see no reasons to be mad at you, Eva. I want to talk about something important with you tomorrow.-Jake said, got up, and left.

I do not understand what just happened. What does he want to talk about? I better think about it later. Today was a long day.

AT THE SAME EVENING

AT PRINCE JAKE'S POW:

I finally did that. I must talk about it with her. I do not know what I am going to do tomorrow. Maybe I should tell her about the mate thing. I know that she might think that I am crazy. It's rare to have a human as a werewolf mate. I never heard of that happening before.

-So you are going to tell her true?-My wolf asked.

-I am going to tell her more about werewolves.-I said.

-What is from it? You think she will understand everything.-My wolf said.

-I am not sure, but I want to try to explain most of the things.-I said.

-So you are going to accept her as your Luna?-My wolf asked.

-You know that I am not. I need a werewolf family and not a human girl.-I said and laid down on the bed.

I need to think about how I am going to explain everything to her. I do not want to freak out. If she finds out that I am her mate and she agrees to be her, aI will be in long time trouble. I need to find out how to tell her about everything not making her know that she is my mate.

-Son, can we talk?-Dad asked while walking inside the room.

-What you want to talk about?-I asked.

-What are you planning to do with that human girl? I saw that you kept staring at her. -Dad said.

-She just a human girl do not worry that much dad.-I said and saw how he frowned.

-What are you hidding from me, son?-Dad asked me with a cold voice.

I felt how suddenly I lost control and my wolf took it.

I saw how my dad reaction suddenly changed and I gulped. That is not going to end well for me.
