AFTER A FEW DAYS

(Five days before the ball)

AT EVA'S POW:

I am glad that the cook gave me a day off. I mean, I am working here as a servant, so I am happy to have one free day. Now I can spend some time on myself. I grabbed some cleaning supplies and started clean some stuff in the kitchen. I want to make this place clean, so I could just finally relax for some time. I started to clean the kitchen, and after a few hours, I finished cleaning. I sat down on the chair.

-Hello, Eva.- Jake said after he walked inside the room.

-Hello prince Jake.-I said and smiled.

-I have some questions for you.-Jake said and smiled.

I saw how he sat down on the sofa and started to watch me quietly. I do not understand what he wants to know about me.

-I noticed that the cook was making some food with you yesterday. What are you two planning?-Jake asked.

-I am trying to help him make some desserts for that ball.-I said and smiled.

- Alright. I want to know more about the humans world.-Jake said, and I nodded.

-What do you want to know?-I asked him.

-For example, what people do in your world to earn money?-Jake asked.

-They are doing a different kind of works. I opened a small bakery before I got teleported here.-I said and smiled.

-What is a 'bakery'?-Jake asked me, confused.

-Bakery is a place where you can get fresh baked goods, like bread, cookies, cakes, pies, and stuff like that.-I said and smiled.

-Sounds like a nice place.-Jake said.

-It was. I loved making sweets since I was a kid, so that was the big thing in my life.-I said.

-I understand. How is ruled your world?-Jake asked curiously.

-We do have a president. It's a person, who was chosen by all country people. He got ministers and other helpers. He makes sure everything is in peace. It's like you but got more responsibilities.-I said and smiled.

- It seems that your world is much more different than mine. It's interesting to know more about a place where I never went before.-Jake said and smiled.

- I am glad that you want to know more about my world, but can you tell me more about yours?-I asked quite curiously.

-What you want to know?-Jake asked me.

-What are ranks here? Alya said that she is Omega.-I said.

-We have a few ranks: Alpha, Beta, Omega, Gama, and Delta. Alpha is the strongest one, and mostly the leader. Beta is his right hand and helper. Rest are lower ranks who would be simple people in your country. Omega's here take care of food hunting, cooking, and things like that.-Jake said, and I nodded.

-So I am Omega?-I asked him.

I heard how he started to laugh a bit.

-If you were the werewolf, yes. Since you are a human you mostly can be counted as Delta.-Jake said.

-I understand. I thought because you said that Omega's are responsible for food making.-I said.

-I understand why you have thought that way. I should be going now.-Jake said and left.

He is not that bad, after all. It looks like a prince can be nice sometimes. I got up and finished my last chores before taking shower and falling asleep on the bed again.

I kept doing the same stuff until there were left only one day before the ball. I working the same things every single day, and I know what must be done before the ball.

-Eva, all dishes are clean?-Cook asked me.

-Yes it is.-I said and smiled.

- That is good. Now we must be sure that we got enough ingredients for tommorrow.-Cook said.

-I made sure of it.-I said and handed him a list of ingredients.

I saw how the cook took a peek and smiled. I am glad that he is acting friendly with me and I am not getting in trouble because of it.

-I am glad that everything is ready for tomorrow. The ball starts at seven in the evening, and we should begin making food around five o'clock.-Cook said and I nodded.

-I understand. I will make sure that everything will go like it was planned.-I said and smiled.

-That is good to know and you are free now. We did everything today.-Cook said and smiled.

-Thank you.-I said and walked to my room.

When I reached my room I saw that is about nine in the evening. I do not want to sleep now, so maybe I should make myself something to drink. Hot chocolate sounds pretty good at this moment.

***Authors note -a recipe for a thick hot chocolate I am using***

You will need:

*Semi-sweet dark chocolate - 80g.

*Milk - 250ml.

*Cocoa powder - 5g.

*Sugar - 25g. (Or how much you like)

* Corn/ Potato starch - 8g.

* Coffee ( I am using instant) - 5g.

How to make it:

Pour milk into a pot and heat until gets almost simmering. Put inside chopped chocolate. Mix it until chocolate is completely melted. After that, pour in coffee, sugar, cocoa, and mix it well. After that, you put potato starch dissolved into a small amount of water. Keep mixing until hot chocolate thickens up. After that, pour the chocolate into the glass and enjoy.

After about ten mins, I have finished making it. I sat down on the sofa and started to drink it. I have started to like living here. Some of the pack people are nice to me. I placed a cup on the table and went for a few mins into a bathroom. After I returned, I saw prince Jake sitting on the sofa.

-P-prince Jake.-I said his name while looking at him, confused.

- I came here to talk to you.-Jake said, still sitting on the same sofa.

-I am listening to you.- I said and smiled.

I felt how he pulled me closer. I looked at him, and I felt how he started to sniff my neck. I froze for a moment, not understanding what is going on.

-You smell good.-Jake said, and I realized that he is a bit drunk.

- You d-drunk.-I whispered.

-I do not care, mate.-Jake said and pulled me even closer.

What is going on? I do not know what the word 'mate' means. I tried to struggle, but he kept pulling me closer, and after a few moments, he licked my neck.

-STOP!-I said and pushed him away.

I saw how his eyes got darker, and I started to get scared. I tried to move away from him, but he kept pulling me closer.

-I do not care that you do not feel our bond, but you are my mate.-Jake said and suddenly pulled me into a deep kiss.

-Mhh.-I tried to push him away, but he deepened the kiss. I felt how he pinned my body closer to his, and I swear that I heard something c***k.

-Mmm.-I heard a slight moan coming to form him, and I realized that he is enjoying it.

I need to get free from him, but how? I tried to struggle or push him away, but it was not working. I do not understand why he acts like that. I understand that he is drunk, but why he is talking like that?

-You are my mate.-Jake said and licked my neck again.

-No!-I shouted and hit him into his part.

I suddenly heard how he whined and slapped me hard into my face. I felt how my head hardly hit the ground, and I lost consciousness.

AFTER A FEW MOMENT'S

AT JAKE POW:

I felt how I finally started to regain control of my wolf. I felt that I am on top of someone and saw Eva. She was lying on the ground unconscious, and she a bit smelled like me. My wolf tried to take advantage of her, damn it!

-What have you done?- I growled at my wolf.

-I wanted to do what you kept refusing.-My wolf said.

-You knocked her out!-I growled at him.

I know that I drunk some alcohol today and I am quite drunk. I am sure that no matter how drunk I am, I would never do that to someone like my wolf did just a moment ago. I checked her breathing, and I could feel that it was a bit weaker than the normal one is. I might press her body too hard when my wolf took control. I am just hoping that I did not broke something. I know that I am supposed to feel her pain, but since she is a human, it's a harder situation.

-EVA.-I said her name loudly, but she was still unconscious.

I quickly got up from her and gently picked her up. I know that is my wolf's fault, but I let him do that, and I must fix it! I can not let this human girl die! I ran off to the pack house. Don't you dare to die on me, Eva!
