● Chapter Five ●
"Hell no! I'm not having you tutor me." I spat shaking my head as Mr. Giordano shrugged his shoulders standing up from his desk chair.
"Alright, but if you fail this next test Miss Montez you will have to take summer school."
"But I graduate this year!" I exclaim shaking my head. "I'd have to graduate in summer and not with my class."
Mr. Giordano shrugs his shoulders grabbing his phone and stack of green papers in his hand. He walks to the door and peers over his shoulder. "I can tutor you or you fail my class it is all up to you, Ariana."
He walks out the door while I stare at his retreating back in shock.
Tutor? His ass wants to tutor me? Why? All I've ever done is shown him disrespect!
I can't fail chemistry, I need to graduate with Toni and Jason like we did together in kindergarten. My parents would be so disappointed in me if I didn't graduate on time or at all. But did Mr. Giordano have to tutor me? Couldn't he have someone else tutor me?
But Mr. Giordano has a degree in chemistry and teaching, meaning he knew more than what a teenager did, and he knew what he was talking about so it could be a little bit better. Yet, if I did have him tutor me, maybe he'd even give me the answers to the tests or homework, probably not but I can wish and hope. Right?
Sighing, I look over the clock and see that I had only thirty minutes left of detention, meaning that I was stuck here not knowing how to do any of these things until I man up and tell Mr. Giordano that I will agree and allow him to tutor me. But I won't agree until I can prove to myself that maybe I can answer a question on the homework. So with that said, I look down at the paper and try to answer the second question.
2. Who created the Nuclear Bomb?
What the hell. What does nuclear bombing have to deal with chemistry? Sure it's deadly and a chemical, but what does the creator have to deal with our homework assignment?
Laughter feels the hallway, causing me to snap my attention away from my homework and over to the open classroom door where Mr. Giordano stood talking to Miss Ramerize, the Spanish teacher. Miss Ramerize had her blond hair pulled back into a tight bun and she was laughing at something that Mr. Giordano was saying. I rolled my eyes when I saw her land a teasing punch to his arm, indicating that she was indeed flirting with him but Mr. Giordano seemed unfazed by it which surprised me because Miss Ramerize was an extremely beautiful lady.
"Are you going to the meeting tomorrow? I told Herald I couldn't make it I have to go to my lip injection appointment." I hear Miss Ramerize say. I bite my lip from laughing while I watch in amusement as Mr. Giordano shifted his position to one that made him look uncomfortable.
"Yes, and I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your appointment goes well." Mr. Giordano says nodding his head. I wanted to laugh so bad at the cringe worthy way that Miss Ramerize was trying to flirt. Just imagine watching Jacob Sagittarius's Sweatshirt music video for the first time. It's basically like that.
"Don't worry, my doctor said I could physical activity after a week." Miss Ramerize said running her hand down Mr. Giordano's arm.
Mr. Giordano stifles a cough as he takes a step back and nods his head. "Herald would be glad to hear that," He said to which Miss Ramerize frowned at. "Now if you'd excuse me, I have and student in my room."
Just then both eyes turned over towards me. Miss Ramerize's ace turns a dark red, either from embarrassment because I just watched her fail at flirting by her s****l comment about her lip injections or it was out of anger because I was to be alone with Mr. Giordano, something that she seemed to badly want by the way her body image rang.
Well I got news for you Miss Ramerize, you and all the other girls can have him because I don't.
Waving at the two, Mr. Giordano walks into his classroom after saying goodbye to Miss Ramerize. Mr. Giordano looked embarrassed as he took his seat behind his desk and shook his head. I burst into laughter at that, causing him to look right at me in confusion.
"Is something funny Miss Montez."
"Nothing, just wondering if you'll be joining any physical activities in a week." I laugh to which Mr. Giordano blushes at and shakes his head.
"Blondes aren't my type." He answers truthfully.
I raise my eyebrow at him. Not his type? Is he saying that he doesn't find Miss Ramerize unattractive?
"You look shocked Ariana." He says looking down at his papers and began to write.
"I'm not, I'm just surprised that you turned down Miss Ramerize." I say truthfully, to which he just nods his head. Shaking my head, I look down at the paper infront of me with the only sound coming from Mr. Giordano's pen.
"Maybe I'll get lip injections too. Maybe it'll cut me out of my physical activities too."
Mr. Giordano stops writing and looks over at me like I've lost my mind. "Lip injections? Why in God's name would you want those?"
"Because," I say shrugging my shoulders. "Kylie Jenner had them and they looked great."
"So if Kylie Jenner jumped off a bridge would you?" Mr. Giordano asks raising his eye brow at me.
"Sure," I say with a smile which he rolls his eyes to. "Look, I'm just saying nobody loves you if you are unattractive." I say honestly knowing that was what society has given than the idea to.
Me. Giordano shakes his head at my answer. "You shouldn't waste your money on that shit."
"Are you saying you don't want me to get lip injections?" I ask raising an eyebrow at him.
"Yes I am." He says looking at me with his light brown eyes glimmer in the ray of sunshine peeking through the window. "Your lips already look delectable."
