Two weeks later…
Everything has been going well since the gender reveal party. We’ve begun getting the nursery set up in this little guy's bedroom, and Kenzie seems to be happier with Ryan, which is another plus. Eli doesn’t seem to be phased by any of the changes, and I know it’s his nature to just go with the flow, but part of me worries. James says it’s just my fears of something bad happening when everything is fine, which isn’t a lie. I’ve gotten better at being more optimistic, but there’s always going to be that little voice in my head being the pessimist.
“Hello,” Ryan called as he entered the house on a Wednesday afternoon.
“Hey.” I smile as Mackenzie puts her homework away in her backpack.
“How is everyone doing?” He wondered.
