I was shocked at first when everyone started addressing me as Alpha. It was a title I had never aspired to, not even in my wildest dreams. But Bull Run pack needed an Alpha. Jerome Fitzpatrick had just one sister, Gamma Desiree, who was uninterested in the job, and no other close kin able to take his place. Beta Raghuram would be next in line, but as I had been the one to kill the insane former alpha, the Beta felt it was rightfully my duty to take the title.
