CHAPTER 7: THE DAY I MET HIM

We convoyed going to school. I first walked towards the building, and I felt Martha followed me. She's wearing a sporty type tinted reading glasses to cover her eyes. She is a Daywalker because she still has the Lapis Lazuli navel ring which came from my Mom. She never removed that as a remembrance.
I entered our room and sat beside Justin. It's a miracle that he was already there. He looked at me as if he wanted to ask something. I turned to him. "Is there any problem?"
There was a look of surprise on his face. "I went to your unit to invite you to go to school together, but you weren't there. I thought you went ahead, but I saw your car in the parking lot. How did you go here?"
"I used my other car. I change my car daily. The color depends on my mood," my answer was simple. Less talk, less mistakes.
"I see," a simple response from him. He turned his head and he saw Martha coming in, she sat down in the back row. "Wow, she's hot." I heard him whispering those words.
"Men. If you only knew. She's a vamp, but yes, she is hot. We are all beautiful and handsome at home. Not being boastful, but it's true. One of the qualities of vampires is being good looking, I guess."
Vlad also entered the room, followed by the other four vampires. They also sat in the back, a little close to Martha.
"Martha, this is the half-blood next to me, and the other vampires are near you. The ancient vampire is that tall one," I talked to Martha mentally.
"I don't know them. I doubt they are also registered with the association. We'll know later with your Uncle Fernand. Block your thoughts all the time, Honey. The ancient vampires are thorny with strong senses."
"Got it. Talk to you later." Then I sat up straight and looked at the newly arrived Professor. "One hot prof, coming in!" I said it to myself, but his hotness did not stop my world... it was his eyes. Another silver sets of eyes right in front of me!
I called Martha using telepathy. "Martha! An ancient vamp!" I screamed at her in confusion.
"Hey, relax. Don't be obvious. We will talk about this later. I was also surprised. 2 ancient vampires in one place in a broad daylight around people, and there are other vampires around. I just can't believe this. This is alarming." Martha was trying to calm me down, but she was also anxious and nervous.
I looked at our prof again. He is muscular and very handsome. He looks like Vlad, but our professor is 5 times more handsome. His eyes are silvery, paired with thick brown eyebrows. His nose is pointed and his thin lips are naturally reddish. What attracts me the most was his v-shaped jawline.
He stared at the back. I'm sure he looked at Vlad! He didn't seem happy to see another ancient vampire in the room. I heard a 'creek' sound. I looked around and saw Justin's clenched fist while staring at the professor. He’s not happy with another ancient vampire here? Do they know each other? Did they have grudges in the past?
"Good morning. I'm professor Louie Vangough IV. I will be your professor for The Art of Film Making 101." He pulled out some notes from the bag. He picked the marker from the desk and he wrote something on the white board. I was trying to feel his aura, but I can't feel it. He knows how to hide his power completely. My defense was raised the whole time because I felt the tension between my vampire classmates and our ancient vampire professor. It's a pity that these human students could be trapped in the catfight of these vampires.
The whole period ended, I could barely breathe. Our professor went out of the room, but Vlad and his companions, including Justin, followed him.
"Martha! I think something bad will happen! Let's follow them!" I was shouting in my head.
"All right, All right. Calm down. Let's go."
We simply followed the vampires. They headed to the woods at the back of the school. Our professor was ahead not far away, followed by Vlad and the few vampires including Justin. In a blink of an eye, our professor ran at a lightning speed, and Justin's group chased him.
Martha and I had no choice but to catch up, to cope up with their speed. Justin's companions took different directions to corner our professor. Prof Louie stopped in the middle of the forest and was surrounded by 4 centuries old vampires, 1 ancient vampire and a half-vampire.
Martha and I hid in a tree branch from a distance, a few meters away from them. Observing what might happen. We listened intently to hear what they had to say. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Did SAC send you?" The female vampire asked.
I couldn't see Professor Louie's reaction because he's facing a different direction. He did not answer the woman's question.
"You, who are you? Why are you blending in with humans, and are you all working together?"
I frowned. He called humans as humans, not vermins. A little smile from my lips slipped for a second. I shook my head and went back to watching them.
"Don't meddle in our strategy. There's a lot of food here. Make your own strategy." The little man smiled.
"In that case, you're here to hunt and kill humans? Why don't you take your food from the blood bank?" Professor Louie asked.
"Why would we bother to get food there when there are so many around," Justin said. He chuckled.
Geez. He's sick! That's what he thinks of humans. Just food. He doesn't seem to be a half-vampire. He acts as if he's a pure vampire. After a while we felt another surge of power coming. It was a very powerful vampire! A woman appeared behind Professor Louie. She has a pair of golden yellow eyes. "Am I late, Louie?"
"No, you just got right in time, Anna. There are six, I'll take down the three of them, and this ancient vampire is also mine."
"Call." The woman pulled out a wooden knife and prepared for the attack. It seemed a wooden knife made from Oak tree, the same knife that was used to kill Mom.
"Vampire Hunters?" I turned to Martha, asking in my mind. We looked at each other. Is it possible to have a vampire hunter, who is an ancient vampire? We looked back at them. The attack has already begun.
