CHAPTER 12: SAVE JUSTIN

We went out to search for them, but we could not feel their energy. We went to the garden as we talked but Justin was not there. Martha and I looked at each other. In the forest, the place that is easy to hide, and the place that is easy to fight without a hitch.
Martha and I simply walked into the forest and then felt the surroundings. Weak but I feel them. It seems that the scene is more secluded now than when Justin's group and Louie's tandem had previously fought. We quickly ran to the end of the forest, near the foot of the mountain. We climbed the branches of tall trees and then jumped. We hid our energy, and I'm sure they won't smell us because of vervain. We stopped on a very old oak tree and searched the area.
"Martha ..." I saw four vampires near the hidden falls, preparing to fight. Vlad, Justin and the two male vampires with the two women in the canteen. I was alert, they might need our help.
I heard one of the vampires from SAC talking. It grinned. "We also found you. Especially you. You are the half-blood taken care of by the SAC rebels."
"Why do you want to kill us? Just because we do not need to give in to the SAC? Leave us alone. Why do we need to surrender and be controlled by the council?" Justin insisted. He has a point there.
"Those who disobey Conde Argus should disappear." Vampires from SAC pulled out their fangs and claws.
I turned to Martha. I talked to her in my mind. "Martha? Who is Conde Argus?"
"One of the four founders of the SAC." I noticed Martha was angry, her fists clenched. "He ordered the group of vampires to end my family and our village."
My eyes narrowed. Does that Conde have anything to do with the Princess, the one who killed our entire village? I turned my focus to Justin. If Conde also orders to end Justin, and the it doesn't happen, and these two he sent will disappear, will he feel the rage I am feeling now? A mischievous smile appeared from me.
The four vampires joined forces. Justin fought the taller one with blue eyes, while Vlad faced the one with yellow eyes. What can a century old vampire do with an ancient vampire? Vlad did not even make the effort to fight back. If the SAC would want to kill an ancient vampire, they should sent out an ancient vampire. Vlad released a very strong blue energy. My eyes widened because the energy will reach us. I raised my hand to place an energy barrier to protect Martha and myself.
The blue energy burned everything, including their two vampire opponents, while Justin also placed a protective barrier on his body so that Vlad's power would not affect him. He is such a strong vamp, and Louie almost overthrew him then. I wonder how strong Louie is.
"Give me a heads up if you are going to use that power of yours. I almost died!" Justin forcibly sat down on the ground, catching his breath.
"Oops, sorry. They're lazy opponents so I finished them off. I saw them earlier, victimized the two college students and killed them. These SACs are hypocrites." Vlad shook. "Of course, Daniel... SAC implanted him in our group."
Justin seemed surprised to hear that. "What? I thought he was Army's friend?"
"She's also implanted by SAC. They came to us to finish you. She's being held as captive by our leader." Vlad put his arm around Justin.
I looked at Martha again. "I killed Daniel. So, he's from the SAC? He killed a student that's why I killed him. I thought it was against SAC to kill the victim? If they can't help it, just drink some blood discretely then compel the victim, right? "
"Vanessa, we still do not know much about SAC. Even your Uncle Fernand has limited access to the internal affairs of the council. All ordinary vampires know is that the law is there, but they do not know what the real reason behind their laws. The SAC is just powerful. They have armies of vampires and other supernatural beings." Martha turned to her right, there was strong energy coming from the opening of the forest.
I was anxious for Justin. "Martha, the SAC group of vampires... they are coming here."
Martha closed her eyes, before opening her eyes again. "Get ready..."
Justin turned around to see where the source of the power is coming from. After a while, the two women and the other two male vampires appeared.
"Vampire rebels. You've been here all along," Stacey said while shaking her head.
Justin readied himself for the possible onslaught of their opponents. "Can't you leave us alone? Are you too threatened with a half-blood?"
Stacey laughed heartily. "Half-blood is not allowed to live. That is the law."
"You were once a half-blood, besides, we are not part of the SAC so why should we follow your law? We are on a different faction." Vlad's eyes were threatening.
"Who cares? I'm a pure vampire now, and more powerful than you, ancient vampire," Stacey bragged.
I want to shave her and put an end to her arrogance.
Vlad pulled Justin towards his back to protect him. "If you think you are the most powerful vampire alive, then why do you bother to hunt for other half-vampires?"
"Preventive measure, Ancient Vampire. Just to make sure they won't threaten the council." Stacey's eyes widened, as did her companion with red hair. They pulled out their fangs and sharp nails. The veins on their faces became visible. "Enough chattering." The four vampires rushed at Justin. Vlad chased down all four vampires using his blue energy earlier but the one with red hair pulled out a barrier to protect them all. They are still affected due to the impact of Vlad's power, but the damage isn't severe.
"Martha, Justin is in danger. We need to do something. I want to know a lot about them, and I also want to make the SAC get angry when I end the life of that arrogant Stacey."
"I know. I feel the same way, Vanessa." I can feel Martha's blood is boiling, because maybe because she heard the name of Conde.
A male vampire grabbed Justin and strangled him but he stopped the opponent's hand to cut the force. "Justin!" Vlad shouted, while fighting the two female vamp, the other vampire just watching them.
My eyes glazed over. "Martha, make sure that no one from the SAC will get out here alive."
"Vanessa!" Martha shouted.
I couldn't stand it anymore. I jumped from the tree then quickly rushed to stop the vampire who's strangling Justin. I removed his hand from Justin's neck and threw him to the huge oak tree. I was still not satisfied, I rushed to him immediately and choked him, then I lit a fire from my hand to finish him immediately. There was nothing left of him but ashes blown by the wind.
I felt the fight just stop around me, I turned to them. They are all looking at me. "Are you surprised?" I smiled.
"Half-blood? Another half-blood?" A shocked facial expression showed on Stacey upon seeing me.
"I'm not going to explain to you." I rushed to the other male vampire. I choked him and lifted him by his neck. I used my Biokinesis power to kill him. Biokinesis is the use of kinetic energy to rearrange, or control genes inside of the body and turn them into decay. It collapsed and he disintegrated. "Now, who's next?"
"You'll pay for this!" Stacey said. She started attacking me, but I easily broke her hand. I kicked her with great force, she hits her body on the big Acacia tree. It got up immediately and released lightning power, but I immediately deflected it with a protective barrier.
The red-haired man tried to attack me but Martha stopped him. "I'll take care of him," Martha told me.
I nodded then I faced Stacey. My palms are itching to kill this arrogant vampire. "What are you waiting for?"
I could see the hesitation in Stacey's eyes, and her momentary attempt to escape, so I used my telekinesis. I strangled her and threw again with full force. Her body broke but she began to heal again.
I wasted no time. "I thought you were powerful? You're a loser." My eyes lit up as I approached her, and I could see the fear registered on her face. I stopped not far away, a few meters from her. I raised my hand then I used my telekinesis to bring her broken body closer to me. Her neck met my right hand. Her eyes widened as she stared at me. My hand lit up, I released fire from my hand and it spread all over her body. One of my powers, Thermal energy.
Stacey left a cry before she burnt into ashes.
"Stacey!" I turned to the one who screamed. The one with him has the red-haired woman fighting Martha. She would have tried to help but Martha blocked her. Martha released tiny icicle sticks, it hit various parts of the red-haired woman's body. She collapsed, but she weakly stood up but Martha ended her life with a wooden knife. Justin and Vlad looked at us, can't believe on what they saw.
Stacey's Lapis Lazuli stone ring was left on the ground. I stepped on it firmly and crushed it so that the SAC would not see it.
"I thought she was powerful? I wish I had just let Justin finish them off." I was just shaken and worried. I even exposed myself to Justin.
"You're a half-blood, too?" Justin said incredulously, with amazement and mixed joy on his face as he looked at me from head to toe.
"Oh, please. Your looking at me in a creepy way. Yes, I am a half-blood." I looked at Martha. "And she's Martha." She waved at them.
"I'm just amazed, sorry. I thought I was the only half-blood!"
My facial expression became serious. "Don't be happy. We saved you because you need help, but we are against vampires who kill humans for food. I'll be honest, I killed your friend, Daniel. I caught him victimizing a college student . "
"You ended him." Vlad said staring at me. I look very curious. "No harm done. He betrayed us."
"I'll be honest, I am not bothered seeing you around. I don't care if you are half-blood..." I looked at Justin. "or an ancient vampire." I looked at Vlad. "You can hang around with humans and move freely. But once I catch you killing people, I will hunt you down. "
"Don't worry. We don't really kill humans. We drink from them from time to time but we set them free right after," Vlad assured. "We still need humans to survive, they are still the source of food for vampires, whether you accept it or not. So we also do not want our food source to run out."
"It's good we're clear. I have a lot of questions, but you can answer those next time. We should better get out of here. These vampires from the SAC have tracking devices planted in them. Anytime from now, there will be a back-up coming here." Then Martha and I decided to leave. They also followed us away from the forest.
