David and I arrived at a lone building away from the other shops in the plaza—a gay bookstore, by the looks of it. We parked on the side parking space with just a few other cars there, and it did seem rather discreet in an intentional sort of way. We stepped out of the car and ambled toward the main entrance. My heart raced a bit faster the closer we approached the door. I’d never been to such a place in my life, and it suddenly made being banged by frat boys seem tame. That was only because of the implied reason we were here, though. Yes, it might have been a bookstore, but there was no way most guys came here to read books. Once in, an elderly woman looked up from writing some notes on the front counter, and she gave us a polite smile. She looked at David with stronger focus and widene
