Faith “Sit” Raevah motioned with her hand, the rings and countless bangles catching the torchlight and glinting. Making it almost impossible to look away. She was so shiny, dripping with all her gold and precious stones and I was as powerless as a moth drawn to a flame to look away. I glanced to where she had motioned. My eyes landing on the heap of pillows that had somehow materialised at the top of the Dias. “Thank you” I stepped forward , keeping my eyes on the queen in front of me and not the centaur who was bristling with rage in the corner.
