Faith
What the hell was going on, my brain couldn’t compute what I had seen our those old fashioned windows.
Because it couldn’t be real.
It couldn’t be.
You’re not in Kansas anymore.
That’s all that kept going round in my brain. Around and around likes washing machine.
So I let myself be lead, Sebastian’s arm firm around my shoulders whilst I hugged myself. I was cold, cold enough that my teeth were chattering even though it was warm.
No it wasn’t warm.
It was hot.
Hot as hell.
“Breathe Faith” Sebastian’s voice cut through the fog. And I knew he meant it to calm me down but the fact he sounded so normal was just freaking me out even more.
Escaping Dillon may have been possible but escaping seven of them? That wasn’t going to be easy.
“There is no escape Faith” Sebastian pushed down on my shoulders and I sat automatically. Sighing as my almost bare butt made contact with warm wood. My dress rising up even further so there was only my thin cotton panties between me and the unyielding seat.
I flashed him a look. Mind reading? Was that what he had just done? Wasn’t so much of a stretch.
I just have hit my head. There was no way any of this was real. “I want to wake up now” how many times had I dreamt of being locked in a room with the Sins? But not like this. It had never been this … creepy in my fantasies.
“There is no going home for you Faith, not until this is done” Sebastian’s knees brushed my bare one as he settled himself in the chair next to me. And for the longest moment I stared at it.
Jeans.. he was wearing jeans. They didn’t fit in at all.
“But I can do home.. I mean wake yo” I shook my head, trying to shake away the brain fog that was making rational thought impossible.
Pinching the skin on my bare leg , I screwed my eyes together. I wanted to wake up now.
“She’s hurting herself” someone said loudly, a voice I didn’t recognise. “Sebastian stop her hurting herself before she marks the merchandise”
It was those last words that made my eyes snap open, glaring across the table to the man with the richest red hair I had ever seen.
“Don’t do that” Sebastian dragged my hand away but didn’t release it.
“Stop touching her” This time it was Hunter who spoke. His dark eyes blazing in his head. A flash of blue fire.
“Bite me” Sebastian flipped him the finger, grinning.
“Will someone explain to me what the hell is going on?” My voice was rising as my heart started thudding in my chest again. “I want to wake up. This isn’t my usual Sins dream. And I don’t like it”
“Sins?” The twin I assumed was Dillon was grinning as if someone. “Did she say sins?”
“It’s what her and friends call us” Hunter was laughing. “Because we are all sinfully hot”
“And conceited” I couldn’t help it , the words slipped from my lips before I could clamp them shut. And seven pairs of eyes swivelled towards me, making me duck down in the chair, tugging the hem of my dress down over my thighs.
The last thing I needed was to be flashing my panties at them. Although that was more in line with my other sin related dreams.
“Well you are kind of right” Dillon was suddenly there on the other side, and I knew it was him because his scent enveloped me. “We are the sins”
I blinked up at his face stupidly. “What?”
“The seven…”
“Shut up Dillon” His twin cut in. They were so alike, the only difference I could see was the length of their hair. “What the hell are you doing getting straight…”
“I want to know now, maybe if I listen to this out my brain will tell me what it needs to and I’ll wake up. So spill” I folded my hands in my lap. “Something about you actually being Sins?” I raised an eyebrow. Now I had made the decision that this was in fact a dream it was easier to keep calm.
“The seven deadly sins to be precise”
My eyes swept the table. Were they really trying to me that they were the actual seven deadly sins?
Laughter bubbled up , escaping out of my lips with a very unladylike snort.
“Ohh” I couldn’t do anything but giggle. This was the craziest dream I had ever had. Maybe someone had roofied me? That would explain this stupidly vivid , stupidly crazy dream.
“And you are the one , we have been waiting for”
“Because I am fated to be your love?” I asked between giggles.
“Not quite” Hunters lips curved upwards but it was his downward eyes that caused the laughter to die on my lips. “Love doesn’t really come into it”
“You just have to choose one of us to marry”
“Marry?” I squeaked “Why would I ageee to marry any of you” I pinched myself under the table again. Hard.
“Because it’s the only way for you to ever get home”
