His Unwanted Mate

Chapter-2

Priston's POV:

Being the famous, handsome, and powerful wolf feels tiring. But the thing I hate the most is going to school. What do maths and physics going to teach me?

I got up early. Let me tell you being the soon-to-be Alpha makes everyone curious of you. They want you to be ready for everything. My day is scheduled by my dad because Mr.Alpha didn't like his son to spend time with friends.

Firstly Training. I take training twice a day and I make my pack train at least once a day. They need to do it because when I get this pack I want it to be way more powerful. That's the reason why I decided even to train omegas. They are the least ranked wolves. More like servants.

hey, by the way, I'm Priston Blue, the next Alpha of the Blue moon pack. I'm 18 and I didn't find my mate yet. Sometimes I get curious about her and sometimes I feel glad that I didn't find her yet.

Glad? because I can be with Sveta or if I never find my mate, I may even mark Sveta. She's the strongest wolf of our pack and she's from the Gamma family I guess, who cares? The thing I hate about her is she being clingy like a leech.

I went to the training grounds and there's still some time for everyone to gather. I found her...I don't know her name. the one who didn't get her wolf yet.Human girl.

"Ay.." I called her. She came running towards me and bowed her head.

"what are you doing here?" I asked and weird enough she kept staring at me.

"Umm, I came here to clean the ground and also for the training as well" she tuck strands of hair behind her ear and gave a small smile.

I moved from there and started doing my laps. Everyone reached the ground till I completed running the laps. They started their training, warming up and all.

After an hour the training ended and everyone left for their houses. and there I saw some boys picking up on the human girl, I let out a growl.

"God, she can't even defend herself."

Iris POV:

"OMG, he even noticed my presence today. When he called me, I couldn't even speak a word. I got lost in his beautiful forest green eyes, and damn he was looking so handsome in that sweatshirt and a bit sexy in that messy hair. Who knows maybe I would have drooled and you know what? he even growled at the boys who were picking on me" I said dreamily and Eva gave a boring look. I hit her playfully.

"Ouch girl, it is being a daily thing, why don't you propose to him? and he didn't find his mate yet" she smiled sheepishly.

I gave her a stern look"You know why he's the Alpha's son" I replied.

"And you know what's tomorrow right?"Eva asked with eyes filled with excitement.

"huh? what is tomorrow?" I asked innocently.

"I don't know you" she got up and started walking. I laughed out loud and ran behind her.

"I know, it's your birthday and.."I paused and looked at her, who's blushing already"And the day you are going to find your mate" I squealed.

She laughed."What if it is Alpha Priston?"Eva questioned, and my face fell silent." Chill girl, it can't be, if that's the case he would have already identified me, and dude I am least interested in him" she spoke.

"Now bye, gotta prepare for tomorrow's party," she said and we bid byes.

Okay, today school gonna feel like hell. One, I will be alone. two, I'm gonna get bullied.

I went to school. It's a werewolf school and they treat me like a human because I still didn't get my wolf.

"Hey" someone called me and I turned to find Eric.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Are you alone?" he made it sound like a statement, but it's obviously a question.

"Ah..huh, so you want someone else?" I asked. He blushed.

"Nah, I was just wondering, that's it" he smiled.

"it's Eva, tomorrow she's having her special day," I said.

"what?" he asked.

"18th birthday, she will get her mate tomorrow." I smiled widely."You are invited as well," I said with a wink.

"See you around" he went away after seeing Priston entering.

And here goes the daily drama. He enters, All the girls run over to him and all the high-ranked wolves go behind him as if they are his minions and how can I forget to mention Sveta, she goes running towards him and places a kiss on his cheek. Eww...

That makes me throw up. ugh and here comes me, who keeps a low profile but somehow gets the attention of everyone at the end of the day. Thanks to Sveta and her bitches.I don't know what's her problem with me but she always tries to mess with me.

It's lunchtime and I was walking to a corner place and I tripped, which caused everything to fall on me and Sveta.

"You bitch." she slapped on my cheek. I just glared at her and that resulted in a smack on my head." Bow down" she growled.

I never say a word back and maybe that's the reason they pick on me. They consider me weak and insults this pack. Their behavior is reaching its peaks and maybe one day I will answer them back. But for now, all I see is a blurred vision as tears are piling up in my eyes.

I saw Priston, who seems least interested and doesn't want to involve himself and Eric with a sympathetic look. I gulped down all my tears and left the place.

Soon the school finished and again I went to the lake, looked at the moon and has my routine talk "Just why? till when ?"

It's Eva's day tomorrow and I wish her happiness.

Next Morning:

We did our training and today I skipped school because I want to spend this day with my special person. Eva.

Though everyone tried to bully me, Eva is the only person who always stood by my side and fought for me.

I reached her place.

"Happy Birthday Eva" I ran to her and engulfed her in a wolf hug. Hehe not bear but wolf, because we are wolves.

Soon it's night and everyone from our pack visited the party, I mean almost all the unmated wolves and of course the great Priston Blue as well.

It's the time, Deep down I was hoping it's not Priston and then it happened. Eric came into the view.

"MATE, "they both said at the same time.

Mates are someone to be cherished and spend their lives together, till the time death separates them.

Then it hit me, Eric knew, he knew he's her mate, but he never said it to her and waited for Eva to find it on her own.

They kissed each other and Everyone did whistles and low howls. I'm happy for her. I looked at Priston who's Looking at me and that made me self-conscious for a second.

Next day:

It's time for training and again I got all the hits, blows, and bruises from Sveta and others. Everyone started laughing until a loud growl erupted from Priston.

I'm feeling all dizzy from the morning and oddly I'm hearing whispers in my head.

"You...Iris, you are good for nothing. It's been a week since I started this training, everyone improved except you. You are a disgrace, you don't deserve to be in this pack" he snapped and left the place.

After he left I let out a low growl looking at him. I'm weak, I accept but I'm born here, this is my land, I'm a wolf of this pack.

Priston's POV:

I felt bad for her and couldn't see the sight of Iris suffering. I left that place and then it hit me, the most intoxicating smell of vanilla. It was very faint, if it wasn't for my Alpha wolf abilities, it would be hard to sniff that scent.

I turned around to see all the wolves from my pack and it was gone. That left me dazed.

Am I dreaming?
