Dustin could hardly contain his excitement. Liam will be here soon, and we can have three whole weeks together over Christmas and New Year. Better yet, Dad’s arranged to take Mum to stay with family for a week during that time so Liam and I can have some time together, and not spend our money on accommodation.
As the passengers began to filter through from the arrivals lounge, Dustin eagerly scanned them until he saw a beloved face.
“Liam!” Uncaring of who may be watching, Dustin bounced into the air, waving like a madman. Liam returned the gesture, and the tired expression instantly brightened.
