Chapter 7:* Because of us*

“Wow! You guys mean you like my song, but I am getting started maybe I will become a superstar not sure but who knows” Ryan replied to Logan.

“Hey, guys, guess what? I will be having a party this weekend just to get us to fuss for the homecoming party, which is the real deal and I am inviting you all" Adrian said to everyone.

"So you all will be parting at my crib"

“Hey, Hey, you guys know there is no party without with Leo”

"Ooh really, such an asshole Leo," Sofia said.

“shot your trap” Leo replied and left them all.

Mason storm into all of them panting, " You know what guys, She is back!"

“What do you mean, she is back,” Logan asked.

Still panting, “ She is back. Alison is back!”

"Alison!" They all exclaimed.

Luna dropped off the flowers Ryan just gave to her, shocked, as she stared at Mason in the horror of hearing about the return of Alison.

No one could say anything more to each other as they stare at each other, silence grows imminently in their miss. It is a blue day for them all.

*Bell Rings*

They all had no option than to leave for their class in fear. Hard thoughts running through each one's mind.

As everyone left, Luna had to pick up the flower Ryan gave to her which fell from her when Mason broke the news to them. They all went into their class to receive their lectures but Luna was more worried, she was restless in class and couldn't still believe Mason on what he told them. She still didn't believe Alison was back. She picked her phone trying to confirm if it was true Alison was back one more time from Mason who sat far away from her in the class.

There was no way she could go to meet him because they were far away from the class so Luna chatted with Mason about it on phone.

“Mason it is 10 minutes away to the end of this class, is it true you saw Alison. Is she back?”

Mason got a beep on his phone, picked it up to read the chat. It is Luna who was chatting with him. Then he replied.

“Yeah, She is back”

Luna knowing that it is true she is back, her heart quake and she took a deep breath of fear. She was perplexed about what would happen next now that Alison is out of prison.

Their teacher passes to everyone one of them a handout to read for the weekend, when she got to Luna she noticed she was quiet but she didn't want to bother asking what the issue was.

“Make sure you study the pack” Miss Clara said to Luna.

*Bell Rings*

The class was over, everyone got up from their seat leaving the class. Leo purposeful hit Ryan with his fist. He has never been happy with Ryan after he took his girlfriend Aria from him.

Ryan felt hurt but couldn't react because Miss Clara was still in the class.

Everyone left the class but Luna and Mason stayed back.

"Luna can you excuse us I want to talk to Mason" Miss Clara asked.

"Okay, Ma" Luna left the class for Mason and Miss Clara to have some words.

“Is there anything going on that you wouldn't let me know about?” Miss Clara asked

“What do you mean, Miss Clara”

“I mean, the decline in your grade this semester is terrible. What is happening to you? You have gone from an 89% average to 65% that is alarming"

“How about this percentage, 89% of young people from 15-35 years are killed as a result of murder cases. 65% of the victim are those who know nothing about death as the CDC quoted is that not awful enough”

“So you mean you are going to let, the scenario of the world you live in sway you from achieving your goal as a student?"

“My fate has already been decided, I don't know If I will be the next victim” Mason picked his handout and drops it off on the floor for Miss Clara to get it from the floor.

“I am done,” Mason said to Miss Clara

Miss Clara shook her head amazed Mason could give up on school for such a reason, “What a waste” Miss Clara said watching Mason walk out of her from the class.

It was recess time, Ryan, Luna, and the rest of the class went into the cafeteria to eat.

"Nonsense," Mason said.

“Forget all that, Okay, you are still the DJ at my party,” Adrian said to Mason with a pat on his shoulder.

“Oh yeah, sure Adrian. How I wish Stella was here to dance with me”

Sofia felt disgusted hearing Mason talk about dancing with her late Sister.

“Can we just get serious and focus on what is important now.

Alison?” Luna said to all

“Come on Mason, you are sure it was Alison you saw?” Logan asked.

“Alright, maybe you should take a look at this picture of hers I took” Mason took out his phone from his pocket, flipped it to his gallery, and showed it to Logan.

Logan stared at the picture and screamed, then fear gripped everyone of them. Luna's body shivered as she couldn't get herself to focus on the reality that Alison is back but with the picture evidence from Mason he got terrified.

Flashed back of what happened that day flicked on the mind of every one of them.

“How can they just let her out that way,” Chloe asked frightened.

“She killed my Sister, So I don't expect you all to feel any remorse or be sorry for her,” Sofia said.

“Alison went to prison because of us, we prank her,” Luna said.

“Hey, don't say that, okay..,

It is never because of us. We didn't make her go to jail, it was an accident” Chloe reprimanded Luna.

“Hey, guys” Leo coming into the cafeteria and greeting everyone but no one responded.

"Hey Luna, I need to have a word with you now," Aria just coming couldn't hold herself and wanted to trash out things with Luna for snatching her boyfriend, Ryan.

"Leo and Aria, your guys take a look at this picture" Mason showed them his phone.

“who the f**k is this in the picture,” Leo asked

" Alison is back!. She is out of prison", they replied.

“That is sort of an expensive trick, I can't stand this I am out of here,” Aria said just about to leave.

“It is no joke, Aria, it is Alison”

"Okay, guys I don't give a f**k if Alison is back in the neighborhood and wants to kick out our ass. I would better be ready to take her head off that is so simple" Leo said.

"Come on Leo you need to be cool" Ryan replies him

“You guys are being too afraid and terrible to look at, what is all this! so don't tell me to cool off, Ryan”

“Would you shout your stinking mouth, Leo?”

“Alright, if I don't what are you going to do about it.” Leo gets up from his seat to stare into the eyes of Ryan who just asked him to keep shot. He was ready to give him a fight.

“Would you stop making us look stupid before I use my fist at you”

"Okay, I am ready you can do your worst, Ryan" Leo gets away from the table to meet Ryan who is getting set to fight him.

Ryan gets so pissed at Leo and uses his fist on him, he finds himself on the floor just immediately when he wanted to hit back at Ryan.

But immediately the fight broke out, Mr. Lucas the school coordinator rushed to stop the fight.

“Stop! Stop! you guys, stop now! ” Mr. Lucas pulls Leo away from Ryan, grabbing him on the neck of his cloth.

“Sir, Ryan hit me first,” Leo said.

“That is fine now, Leo you have to go with me now,” Lucas said to Leo as he took him away.

“Are you okay?” Luna asked Ryan

“Yeah, I am fine” Ryan replies picking up his bag from the floor.

“What we going to do about this,...Alison,” Luna ask Ryan

“We can do nothing” Ryan replies with a stern look on his face and walks away from her.

“Hmm, I am back, that response to you from Ryan was sexy,” Aria said to Luna teasing her.

Luna was already having a terrible time knowing that Alison is back, but Ryan getting not to agree with her now is a double blow for her. She was so worried about Alison revenging her accusations. She wishes everyone could think like her and so they send her back into prison for life. She was afraid Alison will kill them all.

This was the bad side about her, her parent never knew and thought she has a good heart. Luna wouldn't want her parents to find out she had a hand in the death of Stella and that Alison was accused of falsely.

Alison left home on her all black with a hoodie and strolls into the store where she bought some hot dog the day she was pranked to go into the dark and abandoned building.

Standing in front of the store attendant, she quickly looks in the face behind the hoodie and recognizes it is Alison.

“Ooh! You the killer. you have been released from prison”.the store attendant said to Alison.

Alison got furious at her and hit the stuff on her table and pointed at the rack.

The store attendant got so afraid turned to look at where her finger was pointing at the rack, she was pointing at a pack of Marlboro. The lady took it out of the rack and drops it off on the table for Alison. Alison said no word she just picks up the Cigarette pack from the table and left the store.

The storekeeper who had known Alison for years as a teenager in the neighborhood stared at her mysteriously as she walks out of her store. She could tell a lot has changed with her within the period she went to the period but the scariest thing about her was how she couldn't talk anymore and have lost her sanity.

"She needs a quick fix, such as a rehabilitation," The store attendant said to herself.

Leo and Mr. Lucas had some score to settle. He drags Leo into his office and closes the door.

“Sit down over there, I said have a seat!” Mr. Lucas said to Leo., but Leo will never do as he just said. He stood in front of Mr. Lucas staring at his eyeball.

“You know I know all about your story kid, you have just been a stubborn kid who has seen nothing about life,” Mr. Lucas said.

“And so what, I need not see anything about life before I can weep your ass” Leo replied.

“Are you crazy Leo, you want me to hit you so badly?”

“Alight, I am ready Mr. Lucas don't be a coward let's do this”

“You know when I had my high school certificate, I had decided to look at the military, my few years in the military I met some young thugs like you and I dealt with them so well” Mr. Lucas takes off his shirt and locked the door with the key.

“I know you think you are a man, but if you are a man you see my cheek hit your best shot at it” Mr. Lucas posed his cheek in front of Leo to hit him.

Leo curled up his fist and stretch forth to hit Mr. Lucas's cheek, but he was fast and smarter than him so he pulled his face away and hit Leo's on his belly.

“I am tired of your flirty attitude and your uncontrolled weed smoking. You better be careful or I will get to hurt you so bad” Mr. Lucas said to Leo as he lay on the floor squeezing into his belly, as a result of the pain he feels from the punch Mr. Lucas gave to him. Mr. Lucas went back to have his seat as Leo stood from him and had his seat eventually

Leo coughing..,

“Do you know why I am a hardcore, do you why? I don't want to walk on the street and be scared of a guy trying to kill me or the police trying to kill me. Look man I get to be hard to survive ” Leo replies yelling at Mr. Lucas.

“Ooh, terrible! I know how you feel...,

He points two fingers on Leo's forehead," this is how you survived, you get to use your head Leo and not be a thug"

“I have got to go now,” Leo said.

"There you go, the door is open" Mr. Lucas replied.
