Chapter 6:* Nightmare*

*4 Years Later*

On a sunny afternoon, wearing all-black jeans and hoodie and walking across a pedestrian walkway close to a bus station with both hands stuck in the pocket.

Alison has just left the prison yard after serving her 4 years jail term for murder. The police dropped her off the highway, she had to walk a far distance from where she was dropped to her Mom's home. Alison would be difficult to be recognised again, she had been severely beaten with horrible scars all over her body and face, so she wore clothing that would cover all the scar from anyone seeing them. Her face looks so horrible with scars of the injuries she sustains in prison.

She arrived at her Mom's home pulled her gate open and walk to the door, then she knocks at the door.

No one seems to be coming to open the door. Allison banged the door harder.

"Who are you at my door? Getaway I have no money to give to you" Alison Mom replied with a shout at the top of her voice from inside of the house.

Alison persisted and banged the door even harder without saying a word back at her.

Her Mom finally came to the door and opened it, to see a huge scary-looking gaint on all Black jeans and face hidden behind a black hoodie.

She chuckled "Who the hell is this on my door", while she sipped from the bottle of whisky she had in her hand. she is drunk.

"I told you to go away from my door, I won't say it again" Alison stood and watched her Mom all through without saying a word.

"Wait a minute, is this Alison? Ooh! Alison my baby!" she screams and jumps on her with a huge hug.

"Sorry baby, look at you, ooh! Just come in my baby let me clean you up"

Alison Mom had resorted to drinking alcohol after Alison was taken to prison. She got more frustrated about her daughter's condition and turned into an alcoholic.

Alison watched her Mom so excited about her coming back home but she couldn't say a word to her in return, she now has a speech defect due to the attack she hard in prison. She could bearly talk.

Luna woke up the next morning having a terrible nightmare. She had just had a nightmare about what happened the day Alison got prank and Stella lost her life. Then what struck her more was the last word of Alison before the police took her away.

Luna was still panting, When her Mom rushed into the room to see her after she had heard her shouting.

"Hope you have been taken your medication right?"

"Yes Mom" Luna replied nodding her head in response that she has been taken the drugs.

"Come and get your meal in the kitchen dinning, when you are ready to go to school" Her Mom said

Luna had been placed on mediation since after she convened to pull a prank on Alison that turned deadly, killing Stella. Would this terrible nightmare stop showing up?

she sighs!

Luna rushed into the bathroom, taking a look at herself in the mirror. She pulled open the drawer below her and took out her drug. She poured some tablet on her hand and throws it into her mouth. The taste of the bitter pills gave her a terrible discomfort on her face. She fetched water with her palms and watched her face, when she was done in the bathroom she joined her Mom in the kitchen dining to take her breakfast before she leaves for school.

Luna sat in the kitchen dining going through her laptop, she l looking really worried about a lot, while her Mom stares at her.

"You still haven't found your perfect dress for the homecoming party"

"No, Mom I haven't"

" You know, you just have two days left"

"Mom, I don't even know why I am bothered about this, it is not like I am going to win the homecoming queen price"

Her Mom draws closer to her, " Listen, baby, you are qualified more than any of those girls, who are nominated"

"Mom, she smirked, I am not popular among them. I am not the prettiest and I am certainly not the richest"

"No, Luna, first of all, you are gorgeous and you got what money cannot buy- you have a good heart, that is what is more than money or looks, anyway"

Luna smiles, thinking about all her Mom has just said.

Soft-touch over her cheek by her Mom, " Believe that, baby! I have got something for you"

Luna's Mom got up from the kitchen dining to her kitchen cabinet, place her hand over the shelf and pulled out a piggy bag.

"Your Dad and I want you to have this"

"No, Mom I can't"

"Ooh yes! You can" Her Dad replies right from the bathroom

"Would you stop yelling from the bathroom, honey"

"Mom, you and Dad are bearly struggling to pay bills, why give me this?"

"look, baby, we may not be able to afford your college fees but we should be able to buy you a new dress for your homecoming party. You have got to be the queen that you are"

"Thank you Mom" Smiles all over Luna's face.

"You are welcome" Her Dad shouts a reply from the bathroom.

Luna and her Mom chuckled.

"When you get the dress, I can't wait to see you and the handsome guy, Ryan, rolling it over on the dance hall that day"

"Come on, Mom, I told you we are just friends"

"Ooh yeah! That was what I told my Mom when I met your Dad in high school but let's see what happens"

Dad and Mom come and see I got an email from Saint Brit College"

"Oh really, Okay tell me. What did they say?" Her Mom asked.

" I got the admissions"

"Hurray! hurray! Yes!

"But, Mom I am not on a scholarship"

"Baby, so sorry don't feel bad we will work it out"

Aria parking her car just in front of Ryan's home. She has rich parents who lavish on her. Aria is only concerned about a guy to date when she needs one and her sexy looks.

She looks out of her car to see Ryan outside his home, bangs her car door and walking fast towards Ryan.

"We haven't you been texting me back, who have you been with of late, Luna right?"

"For your Information Aria, you don't want us back anymore so get off"

"No, Ryan, how many times am I going to say I am sorry. I still love you"

"Is that why you cheated on me with the little guy. Everyone saw you, it is all over Snapchat"

"How many times do I have to tell you, I was missing you and couldn't help myself"

" I have to go, Aria"

"Don't do this, Ryan"

"Aria, let me go there is no more us"

Ryan's Dad came outside of the house after he noticed some arguments outside his home, "Aria, Ryan doesn't love you anymore. Do I have to call the cops again young lady?

"That is enough, I will leave"

"Son, you will be having a big game soon in front of over 50,000 thousand spectators, don't let this neighbourhood brat ruin your future, okay?"

"Okay Dad, I got all this stuff in check, thanks"

" I am no little brat" Aria yelled far away from her car.

The homecoming party kept approaching, everyone was getting ready for it. Sofia hasn't been herself since she lost her sister Stella but she had to move on with life.

Dancing over the music playing on the radio as she got ready for school. She wore black hair and a see-through net crop top on a mini skirt. She is running late for class but never forgets to fill up her bra with some handkerchief because her boobs are too small.

" I look all set now," she said to herself.

She took a last look at the mirror before she leaves home, and sights a small love shaped picture frame. It had her picture and that of Stella her late kid Sister. She walks to the frame remorseful.

"Another Day, I miss you Sister"

Sofia while staring at the picture remembers how Stella will reply to her when she told her she misses her, replied " I miss you too " in the voice of Stella before she leaves the house.

Chloe had gone out to jug before school time in the morning, having elapsed her time and was jogging down-home. She got exhausted at the front of her home and stopped.

Panting and weeping off the sweat all over her face.

She began stretching her body, trying to breathe and cool off at the same time.

Then she felt a grab from behind her pulling her shoulder...,

She screams and hit it off

"Ouch" Nolan screams out of pain

It is her boyfriend Nolan who was creeping on her.

"Don't creep on me, by the way, what are you doing here this morning?"

"Your grandmother called that she was making breakfast and wants me to join for the meal"

“Alright, but you that because you are my boyfriend don't mean you should creep on me, sorry that I hit you let's go inside the house”

Mason had to have his usual exercise before he gets ready for school. He always had his rehearsal mixing music because of his passion for being a DJ, little wonder he had to be nominated for the role of the DJ for their forthcoming party. His room has all that is required by a DJ, he picked up a Mic after he was done exercising.

“Hey everyone I want to shout out to all the lovers in the house and my only true love, I just want to ask you one question, will you go with me to the homecoming party?”

But he didn't feel like anymore was going with him to the homecoming party, Stella his girlfriend was gone. Mason couldn't believe he will be without his true love Stella as the day approaches, He never forgot the needless prank on Alison that took her life.

He tried to rehearsal on approaching another girl to convince her to go with him to the homecoming, " Baby, would you go to the homecoming party with me, Ooh! f**k it, it is not working"

Mason felt sad since he lost Stella he had not been able to find another girl in his life. He had not found the boldness to talk to any girl to hang out with him, even when he tried no one agreed to hang out with him.

His Mom overheard him rehearsing “ Come on Mason, you got her but is that all you have got to tell her?"

“Ooh s**t! Mom please can I have some privacy?"

“You will get some privacy when you pass your papers in school, now hurry up you will be late for school”

Mason went to his wardrobe to get some clothes, which he put on and was out to school. Just a few meters away from the school he got stopped by some street thugs, it was Max and his gangs.

“Hey dude, we like what you get on you ” Max the leader of the thug said to Mason.

They took his headset away from him and was about to brutalise him when Max felt a sharp blow at his back.

“Oh s**t, who hit me?”

They turned around to see a 6ft tall muscular being on a black trainer, black jeans and a black hoodie. The face could not be seen properly because it was hidden by the hoodie.

“Who are you nigga? Max pulled out his gun to shot”

“Oh no Max, don't shot men keep your trigger,” one of the thugs said to Max.

Mason was shocked and wandering who came to rescue him from the thugs. He kept on looking at the face to see if he can catch a glimpse of the face behind the hoodie.

“Ooh My God! Mason took out his phone to take a picture and hurried to school”

“Will you get out of here dude with your skinny jeans and your puff up body,” Max said to Mason

Ryan was on his way coming to school that morning with a rose flower in his hand when he met Luna, Chloe and Logan outside the class gisting.

“Ladies and gentlemen, please make welcome Charton's highs school queen for the homecoming party” Ryan present the rose flower to Luna with a kiss on her palm.

“Oh! so lovely” Luna takes the rose flower from him and inhales the sweet fragrance from the flower.

Aria approaching and said, “You better watch your back Luna, you might not be able to make it to the homecoming party” then she left their presence afterwards.

“Why are you just acting like you are going to stop me from loving Ryan,” Luna asked Aria

“What was that attitude for, is it a drama or something” Chloe angry over Aria's reactions to Luna.

“Never mind Chloe, Aria is such a naughty asshole,” Luna said to Chloe.

“I like that pretty skirt you got on girl ” Sofia complementing a girl as she walks up to the rest of her classmate who stood outside the lecture hall.

“Hey guys, guess who is about to be a big boy after school tomorrow"

“who,” everyone asked

Ryan” She giggles.

Ooh yeah, congrats Ryan. I love the pretty song of yours" Logan said to Ryan snapping up a handshake with him
